 I think the black was smart but pretty ordinary and I think these are really distinctive so the white and the grey, really nice contrast there. So as far as the features and the specifications on these earbuds, I would say they're not the most feature packed earbuds. You've got to bear in mind the £30 price tag here but you've got Bluetooth 5.0, you've got an IPX7 waterproof rating, you've got dual connect so you can use the earbuds independently and seamless switching to do so

 I think where these really begin to shine is around the performance and the sound quality so we'll come on to talk about that. But before we do so I'm just going to talk about the controls on these earbuds. So these are a button control, so we've got the manual there, we're going to look at what the controls are but you can see there, there's a sort of raised plastic bit there and it's a sort of fairly easy to press button but I mean I'm not really a fan of buttons in the main, I do prefer touch controls however the good news is that these do control everything so you've got obviously power on and off, volume up and down, previous and next track, play and pause, control over your phone calls there and then really really good, manually entering into pairing mode and then your voice assistant there as well. You've got a clear little diagram there to show you all of those

 I think that the question for me is what you know who are they for who should buy these because there's so many options on the market at the minute I mean Sound Pints are a fantastic company I really do enjoy their earbuds. I would buy these primarily for working out I wouldn't personally choose them for just the everyday kind of use. I'm going to come on to the core quality samples but it's just not good enough in terms of core quality for my everyday use but if you just want a really simple easy straightforward pair of working out buds you're getting great sound you're getting great comfort and they look fantastic let's be honest they're so smart they're fantastic looking so distinctive great sound no problems you know waterproofing IPX7 is great and you can take them anywhere and you're not going to have any problems with these however there are better options if you want that kind of all-rounder you know if you want your features you want things like wireless charging if you want things like in-ear detection there's better options out there.  And as part of my testing I've been running in these, I've done some walking in these and yeah they're fantastic for that purpose, they stay in really securely and I had no problems at all. As I say I really recommend you experiment out of the box in terms of those tips and wings. I ended up using the medium ear tips and the medium wings which is what you get out of the box but as a good chance you'll have to switch those out and see what's best for you.  I have read and listened to quite a few reviews on the two types of earbuds in question, but thought I'd come here and see what experience anybody's had with these and which pair they think has a more balance sound with clear mids and highs. Any help appreciated thanks guys.

Hey guys! Just purchased the Soundpeats truefree 2 and for the price I think there pretty good, but there's just a bit to much bass for me and not quite enough presence in the mids and highs. I prefer the bass to be present with a good punch and well balanced, these just sound to boosted for me. I have read and listened to quite a few reviews on the two types of earbuds in question, but thought I'd come here and see what experience anybody's had with these and which pair they think has a more balance sound with clear mids and highs. Any help appreciated thanks guys

 A few issues as noted below, but worth the small price.  Comes with accessories to improve fit in ear. However, the accessories make the earbuds too big to fit in the carry case so you have to remove them before charging and then re-apply after charging. Putting them on and taking them off several times a day gets old after while

 The earbuds are advertised for 20 hours play time, which is really 5 hours max between charging 4 times in the case, and then you simply recharge the case for another 20 hours of play time.  My earbuds seem to die every hour while listening to streaming TV, which is very inconvenient since I have to stop watching a movie in the middle so I can recharge for 2 hours in the carry case and then finish watching the movie. I don't know why, but after 60-70 minutes the red lights starts blinking and the controls stop working. I sent a note to their support group about this and I'm waiting on a reply

 With my phone in the kitchen I was upstairs to the bedroom listening to music.  I paired it with two devices: an iPhone and a TaoTronics wireless Bluetooth adapter on my TV. Each time I take the earbuds from the carry case they automatically reconnect to the last device. So, each morning they auto-connect to the TV that I was watching last night, and there's no easy switching between devices

These are small and wireless, which makes it easy to take on a flight, to the gym, or where ever you go. I enjoy listening to music at home and conference calls at work. The sound quality is good, but not as good as full sized headphones. The mic is OK

 USB-C connection. The buds are held securely in the case by magnets. The case fit on your pocket. The silicone tips provide enough pasive noise cancelling

 (This could be a con depending on your liking) No fuss pairing with the phone.  For the price You can't ask too much. But the cons are: No ANC. Battery life could be better

 The sound is clear with good bass. In calls, the other person can hear your voice clearly. USB-C connection. The buds are held securely in the case by magnets

 It's definitely pushing up the bass and it's really pushing up the treble, but luckily the mids don't get lost in it and overall I think it's a very pleasing sound. Now when it comes to the sound stage and the sound imaging, this is something they probably could have done a little bit better with, but because it's such a dynamic sound, I would put it sounding like you're more into a medium to large size room. It obviously kind of feels more like you have two massive speakers in front of you and not so much where things are spread out, but you can still tell where instruments are coming from. You can definitely pick apart details when it comes to that

So as far as my cons with these, they're really simple

 Now continuing to look at the case, you'll notice that there is a USB-C input on the back, and then you have four indicator lights underneath the lid, and that way you can kind of gauge how much battery life is left on the case. And really you get four charges on the case, so each light kind of indicates how many charges you have left. Now as far as the earbuds go, again like I said, they are an extremely light pair, kind of have a hollow feel to them, but with the added wingtips they are one of the most comfortable pair that I've ever used. Now as far as the controls on here, they do use button controls, but luckily the buttons are very sensitive, so it's not one of those that you have to actually mash pretty hard to get to do what you want to, and so it's extremely comfortable when it comes to button presses, and I'm happy to say that you have control over everything

 And now when it comes to the treble, treble has a nice, bright, clean sound to them. Again, it's very detailed. You can tell that they've tuned these up to try to keep up with that really punchy bass. So overall it's giving you that more U or V shaped EQ

Context - I've tried Haylou GT1 Plus and didn't like them because:
- hard to take off from the case
- hard to fit into my ears
- falling off
- touch control was annoying when inserting into the ears or trying to fix the fit

I also have Huawei AM61 and they fit very well and overall are ok, but the cable gets into a way during exercise and there's no charging case.

Looking for TWS earbuds for gym and outdoors

 They wrap around the earbuds to help lodge them in the ridge of your ear. They are fairly comfortable but they come off too easily. When that happens I have to catch the earbud before it falls out of my ear.  These are two minor issues and I am working with them, but they turn my review from 5 stars to 3 stars and cause a bit of frustration

First, I will say that I really do like these earbuds. They fit comfortably and securely (most of the time--see below) in my ears and the sound quality is good. They turn on automatically and connect to my device when I take them out of the case, which is really nice. And even though they aren't noise cancelling, they do block out quite a bit of sound even when nothing is playing

Love Them, But I Have a Couple of Issues

 Synths come through really well, but again, bass on some tracks can get a little bit overpowering. I find the punchy bass works a little bit better with Psytrance. Now with Trance, I'm going to give these a 7 out of 10. That treble being pushed forward keeps that euphoria in the synths and the vocals

 Vocals and distorted guitars could come forward a little bit more, but you're going to get your head banging. I'll tell you that. All right, so to wrap it up here, I must say for the price you're paying here, it's probably some of the best value for money you can get right now. If you're looking for a nice bass heavy earphone that you might be using in the gym or training or whatever it is, the fit is really secure

 So the fit is really good if you're looking for more long-term use with the earbuds. For me, after about two hours, kind of on the back part of the inside of my ear there, I did get a little bit of discomfort on the left earbud. So that was after two hours, but still pretty decent there. And a quick comparison I wanted to make as well was with the TruShift 2, because these are kind of similar, both by sound piece

 All right, so to wrap it up here, I must say for the price you're paying here, it's probably some of the best value for money you can get right now. If you're looking for a nice bass heavy earphone that you might be using in the gym or training or whatever it is, the fit is really secure. If you don't mind using a physical button and the battery life not being the best, this is going to be a pretty hard one to miss. It would have been nice if these just had AAC, just to kind of bump up the sound quality, but I must say, even just with SBC, they still sound really good and better than some earbuds that I've had that use AAC, so nicely done sound picks
