I like this set, its cute and good size. Nice for summer entertaining however I worry that they will crack and break easily if dropped. I have small kids that are clumsy sometimes and was hoping for something a little more shatter resistant. These feel very fragile

 they do seem to be fine in the dishwasher though so that's a plus. overall they work well for me, and the kids like the bright cheerful colors.

I bought Spice by Tia Mowry bowls and plates specifically for it being light weight and was not disappointed. They're a very pretty melamine set that is truly lightweight but also sturdy. I like that they are not heavy and do not hurt my arms or hands to hold them .

So far these have held up well to the dishwasher and microwave. The colors are vibrant and beautiful and I love the design. They are super lightweight as well.
