 The original was tumbled titanium and CTS XHP. Then the blade was also tumbled and had that really nice finish on it that is unfortunately not present on this guy. Not that the finish on this guy is bad, it's just not as good as the original. I have reviewed it

 But at the end of the day, this is supposed to be obvious, supposed to be about fun. So anyways, don't take it too damn seriously. Let's go on ahead and jump, though, into the things I'm really liking about this guy and the things I'm not so much. On the good side, to start with, the biggest thing I like about this thing is that it's the same damn knife, right? This is one of Spydeco's very best models of all time

 A lot of people have been asking me, Nick, what's your preference? Would you, given the choice, would you carry the new one or the old one? Honestly, for me, I'm a little fancier. So I kind of like the blade finish on the new one a little, or I'm sorry, on the old one a little bit. But I also like M390. I'd like the old one a little bit more, but the new one has still got its charm

 I'm buying it, right? It's a knife I'm owning, but they were willing to send one to me a little bit early, so I could get a video out there and address some of the questions that people have. But I told them as always, I'm going to talk about the good, the great, the bad, the ugly, might be a gem, might be junk, they still sent it along. Am I going to call this Slish Bowie junk? No, I'm not. But nonetheless, we have to assume this is the best quality controlled one of these guys ever, and I'm doing my best not to let that affect the nature of quality in my review

 How is that a mid-tech? Well, practically speaking, it acts like one. The quality is there. So let's take a look at the knife. Two slabs of titanium, and they're contoured

 And it is, it's high-end pricing, but it's high-end quality. This knocks Sebenza's out of the park, as far as I'm concerned, or at least it's in the same damn park as they are. And that's impressive, given that they run like 400 bucks for a freaking hunk of S35. But this is a beautiful, beautiful knife

 And the blade is made out of CTS XHP. XHP, sorry, long day. XHP is a good steel, I guess. It's like D2, but stainless-er

 It's a nice soft lock bar, so you're not really forcing it. And the blade is just so smooth to come out. I mean, and you can do the flick if you want, but it's also smooth enough that it's got a nice.
