 It also has what they describe as narrow tall frets which are a fraction smaller and a fraction higher than the Vintage Modified Series and not actually that much difference than a standard strap and certainly not as narrow as the Japanese Jaguar. Thinking of buying a SQUIER CLASSIC VIBE JAGUAR - Watch this!! 2019

Since I do recordings at home, I figured I kind of wanted to have a bass within my gear as well. Didn't want to spend a lot, so I went with a new 2021 Squier Affinity Jaguar Bass with like the Music Man pickup. I've been playing it non-stop for the past few days now, and holy shit is this thing good. I can't believe this bass was only €222 (roughly  $260) because it looks, feels and sounds absolutely amazing for what it is

 So I'll just give it a quick set up, just tweak the action a little bit, again it's got the stock 9 gauge strings on, so I want to give you an idea of what it's sort of like out of the box. I recommend to put 10s or 11s on, being short scale they really are slinky me, it's just a lot better with 10s or 11s on in my opinion. So yeah I guess the next thing is plug her in, see what it actually looks and sounds like. OK, let's go

The the the the the the the So there you go, that was the Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar, finished in a 3 colour sunburst, brand new £343, a couple of places have gotten a little bit cheaper but they ain't got much in the way of stock at the minute but I was in a bit of a rush to get it for next day delivery, really nice guitar, I am impressed with it. My only main gripe with these narrow tool frets are not quite what I like to play with, I like medium jumbo or jumbo but they still play nice

 So if you flip the switch up you change to the rhythm circuit, so this is just the neck pickup only, you've got a volume and a tone control for that, so that completely bypasses this lead circuit. Another cool feature you could use this for is if you turn the volume right down, using the rhythm circuit you can use that as a kill switch, which is quite a nice feature to have. So moving on to the neck, it's got a maple neck, large 70s style head stock. This has got the vintage binding around the side of the neck, that looks really, really nice, I do dig that

 I went for this one because I may go for a cabane mod to it at some point, I've put some humbuckers in and I'll see what else I do to it, but yeah, lay it down the line, I've bought it with a view to mod it up to Kurt Cabane Jaguar, if that's your sort of thing stick around on the channel, there should be a series on that coming soon. So I'm going to play to a backing track today, I'm going to play through four different positions, so first of all I'll start off on that rhythm circuit because not a lot of people demo them and it's quite an interesting sound, it's a lot darker, again it's just that neck pickup, then I'll go down into the lead circuit and I'll go through the neck, the middle and the boost position, I won't be using the strangle switch today, the high pass filter, I'll have that turned off. What you're here for and what I'm here for is another Jaguar review, and this time we are going to be talking about the lovely, the fantastic, the affordable Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jaguar. The Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jaguar features a polyester finish on a light poplar body, this one in the Guitar Center exclusive color Daphne Blue. The guitar has a 24-inch scale-length maple neck with a vintage tint poly finish, 22 frets, and a 9

 I've found them to be much improved over the previous vintage modified series, what with the tinted necks, the nicer sounding pickups, and the better build quality, at least in my experience. And no, it's not just because I think you're better off upgrading to an AVRI straight out of the box. It's not even that it feels all that bad, because, well, it works. But I have to say that I'm the reason that it works

I love my Squier Jaguar bass. It’s short scale and sounds great, especially with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickups. It’s an inexpensive shortscale option to try.

Long story short I'm 17 and have arthritis. Bad. Would the string tension be too much? Wouldn't a short-scale bass sound like shit? Also I'm a high school student so I'd need cheap gear, but is there anything good for a low price tag?

My arthritis requires I write with a fountain pen rather than a ballpoint; you need zero pressure to write with a fountain pen and that helps my hand not cramp. Using a ballpoint I cramp after a sentence or two, and I can't write after two paragraphs. Wouldn't I just long for the sweet release of death playing bass?

I want to learn bass guitar but I really don't know if I can...

 The pickups sound better than the Bullet Mustang, but I'd also switch them out for Seymour Duncan Antiquity II's (who wouldn't?). Overall I'm happy with it, but if you want this guitar to really shine prepare to invest some money into it afterward.

Needs Setup

 You push it up and you get a thinner sound, which is really cool on a Jaguar. So yeah, push the switches up on either pickup, the both on or, you know, turn them down or off. So you can get some really cool sounds. You can also use this as a kill switch
