 If your bike is already fitted with any mountain bike Eagle components, then the Gx Eagle Access looks like quite an inviting opportunity. Unless you really want to upgrade your whole drivetrain, you are only going to need to buy the shifter and the derailleur. Weight wise, the Gx Eagle Access derailleur and shifter tips the scales at grams. An equivalent Gx mechanical setup is 443 grams

GX EAGLE AXS - Wireless Drivetrain -- What you think?

A little inconsistent

Need advice: Diamondback Haanjo EXP carbon (explanation in comments)

 For a unit that costs over $600 I expected a lot more, especially from SRAM. Sometimes cheaper is better. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Not dependable

I have been contemplating (my wife would say obsessing) over a new gravel bike. Lack of stock has been one the biggest deterrents. I finally yesterday preordered a 2022 Giant Revolt Advanced 2. Should he here in February. But today when I was out and about I randomly stopped in a local shop. They have a Specialized Diverge base carbon in stock in my size. This bike as I searched was my #2 choice. I think I will pull the trigger on it tomorrow am, but my biggest concern is that it is a 1x, which I have never owned and components are SRAM apex, and I have always ridden shimano. Am I being a ninny worrying about going to a 1x, and what are your thoughts on Apex v. GRX? Thank you

Ok so I have a sickness. A bike sickness. Hello my name is Bob and I have a bike addiction. 

This past winter I built a bike from the ground up. DI2 and all the parts I wanted. Too a bit to source parts but I did it. Don’t pay attention to the mismatch brake calipers. 😂 

So I want to do it again as I have an itch. I built a bike I could use for multi use. Road, gravel and bikepacking. Some days I have more money than sense so thinking about doing it again this winter and build my ultimate gravel bike. 

If it was you would you stick with same company for components that you have or try something different? Wireless does sound nice with a wireless dropper post. 😂 man I need to find my cycling anonymous group locally. 😂

DI2 or SRAM? Not what you think I’m going to ask.

Good bang for the buck!

My friends say that Shimano drivetrain are crap because two of them have had problems with these, one of them got a broken derailleur that got into his wheel and destroyed lot of spokes. Did they really got unlucky or are shimano drivetrain less reliable ? (It was on used bikes and I'm going to buy a used too)
