Staedtler Triplus Micro

I have the 0.5mm and it's a good beater pencil, but I wish they didn't rubberize the outside. It collects dust like crazy and the one I put on my desk at work feels tacky after a year (the one at home still feels normal...). The Tul was my go-to recommendation for an inexpensive pocket safe pencil until I discovered the Staedtler Triplus Micro (essentially the same feature set as the Tul, except no rubberized exterior and a slightly triangular grip shape).

If you're looking for a good MP for school, I recommend an inexpensive pencils with a retractable tip and a good eraser. My current favorite right now in that category is the Staedtler Triplus Micro.

Moleskine paper is also epic crap with fine liners like the Sakura Pigma Micron, Stabilo Point 88 and Staedtler Triplus. The ink pools up and takes forever to dry. I’ve even had problems with the wetter Uni-ball rollerballs. So it’s not just that it doesn’t work with FP, it doesn’t work with a lot of other really normal pens.
