I consider this simply a gridded journal

It’s just a notebook with grid paper

 Unfortunately, on that front this product fall short. Well the paper is beautiful, it is in no way a dupe for the tomoe river paper in the hobonichi.  The paper is thicker then tomo river paper and it feels slightly slicker than the hobo. However, my main complaint is the feathering I experienced when writing with fountain or ink pens

 I am a Hobonichi user and comparing this product to the A6 Hobonichi English Planner and even the Avecs, this product is not bad...it is pretty close to the quality of the Hobo and definitely a cheaper option for anyone wanting to test out this type of system

 The size would be ok if the print were darker, but as is, it is difficult to read. The graph lines are numbered 8 through 21. Still, the date numbering system is clever idea and allows maximum flexibility.

The months and days written at the top can be a little hard to read at a distance. I found myself needing to bring it close up if I wanted to know which ones I marked for past entries. Not sure if the print on mine came a little light or if that is just how they are. Besides that this notebook is solid
