They stated the chatmix works on their site for the PC, but if you dig into their white papers, or comments from Audeze employees on here or head-fi.org, the functionality isn't there (even though SS does it perfectly for their headphones). I'm going to give them one more day today, and hopefully maybe the gremlins are just my expectations to high for a $300 pair of headphones, but right now I can't recommend them for anything other than short sprints of usage, and I may just be creating a new ticket for a refund (even though no one seems to be looking at my other support ticket).

The mic is its weakest point; it's not remotely bad, but just a bit fuzzier in the higher frequencies than we’d like to hear. Even with the qualm, this is a strong choice, especially for PC gaming. I do enough outdoor training across different activities that the robust form factor, battery life, solar and so on make the 7X a very attractive proposition. My last Garmin was the 920, which I used for Ironman and a few half IMs. I changed to Suunto, which I liked in some ways…but their platform is dead, and I suspect their company will be soon too. With the F7X I can sea kayak, run, MTB, row, snowboard….it’s all there.

About the headphones though, i would have gotten the Steelseries Artics 7X, or 9, they work on both Xbox, PS5 and PC wirelessly and they have better sound and build quality than the official PS5 and Xbox headsets, and they would have costed you about the same or less.
