 Hey guys, it's me again XFTW and today I'm going to be doing a video for you guys on the SteelSeries QCK RGB mousepad, specifically in my case that would be the extra large version the SteelSeries QCK RGB XL. This is going to be a very simple review seeing as it is a mousepad, this is it here as you guys can see, I have it hooked up to my MacBook Pro, anyways it's a very very simple review. You can change the RGB effect through SteelSeries Engine which may I note is one of, not even the most liked but one of the least hated RGB softwares, people actually like it generally speaking so props to SteelSeries for that I suppose. It says that it is optimized for low and high DPI tracking movements, of course this is probably just their jargon, all of this is their jargon

A Good, Simple Mouse Pad

 Ergonomically, this SteelSeries mouse pad feels much better, likely due to the LEDs being surrounded by a softer plastic whereas the Corsair RGB Polaris mouse pad used a harder plastic all around.  Unfortunately, I could not find "gaming" mouse pads that had a wrist rest on them and all the regular mouse pads I looked at did not have a surface wide enough for gaming (tough to play shooter games with a slimmer mouse pad with a wrist rest, no room for snappy manuevers). I'd get this again until there is an ergonomic "gaming" mouse pad that can be used!

 The SteelSeries Engine software used to control the mouse pad LED colors isn't good compared to Corsair's iCUE software but it's also not rocket science to use. I have other SteelSeries items and other Corsair items and unfortunately, none of the SteelSeries items work as seamlessly as anything in the Corsair ecosystem. Ergonomically, this SteelSeries mouse pad feels much better, likely due to the LEDs being surrounded by a softer plastic whereas the Corsair RGB Polaris mouse pad used a harder plastic all around. I've tried a couple of "gaming" mouse pads but this has been the best one from an ergonomic standpoint. It wasn't a high bar to set to be honest as this one just happened to be the thickest one I've tried out (or at least the one that feels the thickest). I tried a Corsair RGB mouse pad and a couple other non-RGB SteelSeries mouse pads that had great reviews but this one is the only one I could use without feeling like I jammed my wrist working a heavy bag after a COD Warzone session.  Aesthetically, it's OK and the LED quality is alright but it doesn't look or feel as good as the Corsair MM800 Polaris Mouse Pad
