What I liked about my 832: soft, smooth, pliable, thin. It was easy to work with like silk sewing thread. It held almost zero memory to the spool unlike mono (and most likely power pro)so it made trying super easy especially with a palomar knot.

I am a fan of sufix 832, use it as often a I can. I have tried kast king silky 8 for my ice setups this year and was pleased with its performance as well, not sure how well it wold hold up in a salt water scenario, I plan on using sufix for that.

I use Sufix 832 or Power Pro as they perform the best throwing bigger lures. Leaders try to get Mustad double lock snaps and some Fluoro at 80-100 if you want. Titanium is an option but hard to find and expensive. The Mustad steel leaders are fine for the lures I suggeted.

Sufix 832, Daiwa J-Braid, and Power Pro slick II. Sufix is the best but expensive.
