 Take it. All right, so SVS PB2000, enough for a big room for God damn sure. A little bit too much for this room, but my cat seems to like it either way, check it out. I'm hoping to get out, by the way, their other, I may check their ultra series out, speakers, I have their primes inside, I gotta talk about those, may check their ultras out, and maybe, who knows, if people buy these subwoofers, I might get a bigger one to test from them

 And a sledge technology, 1100, I think, peak watts. Basic, very basic back here. Let's swing it around and take off this metal. Come on

To add: I run a pair of Klipsch R80-SWI in my living room, but it's a smaller room and we rarely blast the system. With the system calibrated it is more than sufficient for that space.

I have three def tech 15’s and I can’t imagine life with out them. Don’t get small subs unless you’re seriously cramped for space.

my 2 cents.  the older r-28f towers (the front ported ones) produce better base than a single r10sw.  

since i set up my r-28fs as full band front channels i only turn the sub on to be obnoxious.

Planning and design underway for my sports book room w/ 3 tv setup. Also wanna have movies as well on center screen. To that point, should I go with 2 klipsch 8” subs or a single 10” sub? I have the 2 8’s already. (Sw-350). I can buy a single 10” (r10sw). Thoughts?

What I like about this sub: It goes lower than the klipsch 12sw it's very clean tight bass  what I didn't like: Not loud enough.  This just might be too big for someone. So this or let's say similar model today. If there's a small apartment, I would think twice and maybe opt for SB-2000 instead. SB stands for sealed box, which is also a lot smaller in size

SVS PB-2000 Subwoofer - 8 YEAR REVIEW! - What a MONSTER!

I’d argue that ported subs need additional equalization to give you flat response in a room and that need disappears altogether with sealed subs. Sure ported can be louder, but my ported subs didn’t shake my house any more than my sb3000s do. And the 3000s sound absolutely incredible with music, which is a nice bonus that did not exist with the pb2000s. I’ll probably never buy another ported sub again

I'm curious about how much of a difference it would be to go for 2x SB-2000 Pro vs 2x SB-3000?  The price difference is $200 each (so $400 total), is the upgrade worth the extra cash?  I can't find a good place to do a side-by-side so I'm hoping someone here knows.

Best dual SVS sub for $2,000

This is a hugely outdated sub, massive, I tried to get quality sound out of it, and called svs and still very disappointed. I have a very nice velodyne and this replaced a not so nice Polk sub, not at all happy w it, could barely hear the bass despite going thru set up options w svs (svs helpline is fantastic). Nice exterior but ridiculous in size. My velodyne is half the size w much better bass

Don’t buy, outdated, many better options, no returns

 When I was running Roo measurements, of course when you're doing compression testing, you're taking the volume quite high. I didn't hear anything that sounded off to me, I didn't hear any distorted or any muddy bass or anything, even though I was pushing it to reference volume, it still stayed clean and tight. Now obviously, the more you spend, the better sound quality and the more performance you get from a subwoofer, but for the price you pay for this subwoofer, I would say the sound quality is on par for what you pay. And I don't think there's anybody that's going to complain about the sound quality of the subwoofer, as long as you're going into it with the expectation of you get what you pay for

 As far as performance and sound quality goes, you should be happy with the subwoofer. Is there better performance out there? Of course there is. You may even be able to get a little bit better performance for the price, but again, it depends on what you value in your subwoofer. Maybe there's some of you out there that want that app control, maybe there's some of you out there that just like the SVS brand, but for the price you pay for the subwoofer and the performance you get, I'd say it's fair

Old geezer needs help buying first home theater

Thought for the price it would hit harder, I called consumer support they had me swap out the sub and amp with replacements ,it did help , but still not as powerful as I thought for the price

 It's an organ symphony and the author of this CD says that it has the strongest 16 Hertz tone that they've recorded or they've been able to find so let's just hear just a few seconds of this. It's not coming through as well as I would hope over audio but you can really see just how much the speaker is moving while we listen to this track. Okay now that you've listened to the sound test hopefully that came out it probably won't come out because honestly it's really hard to capture what this thing is doing at you know below 20 Hertz and things like that on a camera microphone. I did set up and do a different microphone than I did for my super search review but this still can't really capture it because some of the stuff you can just feel it it's it's not something you can hear you can feel it in your chest but really I promise you guys if this is if you're thinking about buying the PB-2000 you won't be disappointed

 It was great and so everything the SVS that I've heard about the subwoofer delivered. It delivered on the SVS legendary sound I guess you could say and so I really really enjoyed it but you don't have to take my word for it. Let's listen to some sound tests and you can tell me what you think.  It's a great sub and if you're coming from a home tier in a box or some lesser sub you will really really enjoy it.
