I purchased my dream bike, a Tarmac SL6 Disc Pro, from The Pro’s Closet a little less than six months ago. The bike in general has been everything I wanted and more, but from the start the front brake never felt quite right.

Bad. - Rain made the bike/run unpleasant.

It was a very flat course, that wasn't ideal for my climbing road bike (Tarmac Expert SL6, without aerobars) with a lot of 180 degrees returns (where I would leverage my bike doing some spints). I was constatly worried about not messing up the course and cutting corners. After my trisuit dried a little I positioned myself better in the bike, and did it at a nice steady state, averagin a IF of 0,9 with a VI of just 1,04. Finised the bike with only the overall winner of the females overtaking me.

I tested a tarmac SL6 today. It would be a nice upgrade for me. It's more aggressive than my current entry level endurance bike.

I'm a Specialized fanboy through and through, but even so I have to say the entry-level Tarmac SL6 with the round seatpost is nothing to write home about. The frame is pretty heavy for a carbon race-oriented frame, and the componentry on it is pretty awful for the price.

Btw I have Tarmac SL6 (S-Works disc) and the Roval Rapide CLX 50s are great (tubeless with the GP5000TL tire), and they are reasonable in wind. Might be able to get those much cheaper than new ENVEs.
