 I've seen them at a lot of random gun stores in Iowa, and Iowa's fairly remote, so I'd have to assume they're easy to find in larger cities as well. Accessories, I know that you can find sights for them. Backup magazines are available, but a little bit more difficult to find, but they are relatively cheap. I think I found some for around the $20 range, making them easy to get a hold of

 Two magazines. Now, the magazines are actually pretty cool by comparison to something like a G44 magazine, as you can see right here. Now, the G44 magazine only holds 10 rounds, whereas the Taurus TX-22 magazine here is actually staggered, kind of similar to the P365, so they're able to fit a full 16 rounds in there with one in the tube, making the capacity for the Taurus TX-22 a lot higher than your average.22 pistol, like your Glock or even your Smith & Wesson

I want to get my first gun. I'm strongly learning towards .22LR handgun. Any suggestions as to what to check out?

 Well, at 15 yards, here's a mediocre group. There's one low one. Normally, at this point, I'd say that's a flyer, that's just me. In this case, no, it was an underpowered round

 So we'll shoot this pistol, shoot it alongside the Glock 44, and just to have a more complete comparison, we'll also shoot the Smith & Wesson M&P 22 and the Beretta M9 22. I've got a target set up at about 15 yards and we'll start with a discussion of accuracy. And I'm going to start with the Glock 44, which I have loaded with Remington Golden Bullet 22 long rifle, 36 grain hollow point. Let's take a look at the target

 Once you get it locked in test for function and we're going to add in our magazine. And now we you've all been waiting for. Manufacturers suggested retail price is $349. Now at Gunpro deals they offer it typically for $299 which is a great price for a pistol with that 16 round capacity

 This is going to give you really good accuracy with a fixed barrel design. Guys that's all you need to do to field strip for reassembly. Drop in your barrel, recoil spring, and guide rod. I like the way that this is set up just like your standard striker fire pistol as far as assembly and disassembly with this little difference which I think Kanek has kind of gone to that too now on its regular center fire pistols

Hi everyone! I am 22 and grew up hunting and sport shooting, but fell away from the hobby as I went through adolescence because it wasn’t popular where I lived. I now have a pretty good job and want to buy a handgun for myself. The idea is just to have something that is enjoyable to shoot and practice with since hunting isn’t really viable where I live. Protection of my home is a plus, but it isn’t the MOST important and concealed carry is off the table as I’m autistic and even my phone in my pocket can be too much for me, let alone a concealed firearm. Any advice on which guns to look at, gun shop etiquette (again I am trained for safety no worries there), etc. would be very helpful. 

For caliber choice I am pretty strong at 6’3” and 215-ish so I’m not scared of something like .45, but again protection isn’t my main concern so maybe 9mm or 5.7 would be better?
