Burnt rice every single time.

Bought used which was fine….but like rice residue all over … gross!!  That Amazons deal though!!

 I always cook brown rice but did not like the way it was cooked on this Tayama Brand. It’s only good for cooking large amount of white rice but not to leave it warm all the time. Did not meet my expectation.

Cooks fine. The issue is the warming; cannot warm for long.. rice at bottom tends to overcook and dry out if left on warm for a few hours

 Will it last as long as my old Toshiba, probably not. But for now she'll do just fine.

Come on! When's the last time you saw a rice cooker for $30.00? I shopped around after my Toshiba finally gave out after 35 years! Most rice cookers are in the $60-$100 plus range. So I was surprised by the Tayama for $30. So far it works just fine
