 It's so so easy to play if a little bit of a pollute here. So Ggs Mini is a great guitar. It has a couple of variation, we've just bruised top with the Akua which is really nice. but I find that the mahogany works well for me because of the way it sounds

I’m in Officer Candidate School at the moment and I’m itching to play guitar again. The only problem is that anything outside a select few items has to be stored inside one closet. If you know anything about the Army, it’s a hell of a lot of gear to go in a small space. Do you all have any recommendations on a smaller than normal guitar that won’t play or sound terrible? I’m not an acoustic expert and definitely don’t know much about smaller guitars. Thanks!

[Question] Smaller sized guitar for Army living

 The head-stock has a dented corner, which is unacceptable. Three dents on a new guitar, when even one is too many. It was probably just the seller that provided these to Amazon, but I cannot accept a new guitar in this price range in this condition.

Beautiful sounding guitar, but ordering blind has its risks.

 And um, man, if you need a a little travel guitar or just something that's comfortable and convenient, then the Gs Mini should be high on your shopping list. All the best! [Music] You.

 This is a great range of comfortable little guitars that sound way bigger than they look. And they look fabulous too. So um, if you haven't sussed out the Taylor Gs Mini range, you need to do that because they are super cool and this is a Cola base. Koa Timber Really beautiful and it sounds awesome

 This is the version with spruce and rosewood and it's pretty too. It's just got that classic combination of bright and dark, not just in the way the timber looks, but also in the tone that those particular timbers generate. So yeah, this is a really cool one. uh, the Gs mini rosewood and I dig it

[Question] I was looking to get my first acoustic guitar

Taylor usually makes such a quality product so I was surprised at the cheap cuts of wood used to make the GS Mini. Mine arrived with a large bolt and washer rattling around loose inside the guitar box so I promptly returned it for a refund.

 If you need it as a travel guitar for self-practice or just something to play on the couch, it's more than enough. So now it's time for our verdict and let's just recap and talk about each guitar in turn. First of all, let's talk about the GS Mini. Now the GS mini, as we mentioned provides greater acoustic volume and plays much more like a full-size guitar

 So I'm in a position where I have on both of these guitars and I have used both of these guitars. now. as you can see from the way the top has aged on the GS Mini, I've had the GS mini longer, I had this guitar for over four years and I've used it and I've played it in all manner of situations, both acoustically as well as with the Es Go pickup system. I've played this guitar indoors outdoors I played it for small groups of people I've played it for large groups of people I've played it in churches I've played it in graveyards I've played it in railway stations so I know the GS many very well

 It has a standard sized sound hole and standard sized nut, so if you need a small body travel guitar that gives you the maximum acoustic projection in a small body, that jeez Minnie is the guitar for you. I'll give you a couple of examples where this guitar has really served me well. The first is a recent trip that I took to Cebu in Sera WA and this was for a family reunion and during the day what we were doing was we were going around visiting the graves of relatives I'm half Chinese and as you know, Chinese graves tend to be on the hillsides in relatively inaccessible places and we were singing hymns and each grave and I was accompanying and leading the singing of the hymns. and so I had to fly there with my guitar and then have enough acoustic horsepower to lead a group of about 25 people and this was the perfect guitar for that

The Takamine as we mentioned, has superior electronics which come standard, don't have to buy anything extra

 It's unbelievable, so affordability is my first region. Second is tone. As I mentioned, it has a solid Sitka spruce top paired with that X bracing. This thing is loud, but it also has a sweetness of tone for such a small guitar
