The best small Roku TV that you can get is the TCL 3 Series 2019. It's an entry-level TV that's fine enough for most people, and having the Roku TV built-in helps eliminate any extra wires you would have by connecting an external streaming device. It's available in smaller sizes, from 32 to 49 inches, and most of the models perform like the 40 inch version we tested, but be careful because two of the 32 inch variants have a lower 720p resolution.

Most of the sizes have a 1080p resolution, so while you can't watch the latest 4k content, you can still watch SD and HD cable TV channels. If you want to use it for some gaming, particularly with older consoles, it has low input lag for a responsive gaming experience, and it has a quick response time, but there's black smearing with dark objects. The 5 Best Roku TVs - Spring 2022

 I tried to connect a wireless keyboard using the USB port, which has worked on the PC, Android boxes and some other smart TVs, but it just does not work and it makes searching for anything very tedious. Also there's no search option to search and the channels to add them, you can just scroll through all of them, really annoying. A channel preview feature would also be nice. The wifi seems a to have problems when the signal is not strong even though other devices work fine

 So you must disable Whitle List filtering, albeit only momentarily, to establish a WiFi connection, then and only then you can view the TV's MAC Address. IMO, stupid cart-before-the-horse GUI design.  Would I buy it again? Actually, yes. Now that I've scrambled up the learning curve on viewing the set's MAC Address and broken the code on the completely undocumented setting Antenna TV Favorites & dulling completely unwanted stations, this little set is just fine

 You have to unplug it weekly to get the remote or app to work. It’s not a big deal just a little annoying having to do it weekly. The remote seems to respond better to the tv than the app. For some reason the app gets super glitchy and won’t respond to the tv even though it’s connected

 He had it mounted on the wall and run through his cable but not connected with the Roku. So we(“I”) tried the code, it gave me the 800 phone number to call,as mentioned in several reviews here, where it costs $99 dollars to set up. I told friend that I needed the owners manual so I can call customer service. Long story short, hed misplaced it, I googled it, called them, walked us through it, here’s a very key point-you MUST have a Roku account set up!!! Maybe those codes would’ve worked from the beginning had friend had an account!!! Anyway, set up an account

 I happened to mention that when I had had a Roku stick before it was really cool because you could download a remote onto your phone. And I still had it so I opened it to show him. It had VOLUME CONTROL BUTTONS!!!! I was able to turn the volume all of the way up and then us his cable control to control the volume after that. Such relief!! Another little glitch was the picture size

 The picture wasn’t filling up the entire screen. So the next morning I called the TV manufacturer and while I was on hold the information that I needed was given to me. It said while you’re watching a program or movie and you want to adjust the size push the * button. I did it before the rep came back on the line and it worked!! So no return needed! So happy now, everyone is happy! I hope this review will help someone else because as I said I was really going to pack it up and send it back! Good luck!!👍🏻 😎

 It isn't terrible, but it is substandard, even by today's norms. Don't expect bass. This sound is good enough for a casual viewer not desiring a theatrical experience. If you want more in sound, get a sound bar, any sound bar will be an improvement

As this is only HD, I'll limit my review to that category. Overall it's a fair tv. It has the usual tech points to expect; various line in types, usb drive capable, hdmi and a nice bonus, wireless access. The account setup is user friendly

Ok smart TV but not at this price point

... Wasn't sure about purchasing a TCL tv, we usually go with Samsung or LG however liked that it had the built in Roku and loved just the one remote with easy access to the streaming services we use, Sling, Hulu, ect

. well all has been good we have been enjoying it until just this last week, it started randomly closing the app and returning to home screen while we are watching a program even just shutting off randomly. Very delayed response when using the remote now, like turning up the volume, it wont react then it will finally kick in and be super loud then not respond while trying to turn it back down.
