Not only do ingredients in sunscreen interact with skin, but data shows after application of lotions, some of the same chemicals can be detected in the bloodstream. Most people wear sunscreen to reduce the chance of developing cancer, so why apply something that could potentially increase this risk? This question has unfortunately left many people moving away from using sunscreen at all. Thinksport sunscreen has the highest SPF, water resistance (80 minutes), UVA/UVB as proposed by the FDA’s 2012 Guidelines. The formula does not use nano (ultra-small) zinc oxide or aerosol spray. While applying aerosol are easy, we are concerned over the ingredients used, the potential for inhaling the chemicals and science that showed most users applied less than the amount to achieve the SPF level. Our sunscreen has been top rated by EWG's Skin Deep data base with a “1” rating since 2010. Easy to apply and does not feel oily. For this reason, we have lots of pro athletes to weekend warriors using the product as they don’t feel “heavy” from wearing the sunscreen. No animal testing. Our sun care line has also won more awards than any other sun care line.

Review:🌞Thinksport Safe Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+

 Reapplying is no problem, no pilling or anything (granted, I only reapply my sunscreen once after lunch so I don’t know what happens if you reapply it more often). The thing that annoys me the most is the price, I think it’s too expensive to be purchasing it regularly. I use this sunscreen when I wear a full face of make up when meeting people/going out (which doesn’t happen a lot atm).

 The finish is neither dewy nor matte, it just looks „normal“. It lives up to its hydrating claims, my skin feels much more hydrated at the end of the day when wearing this sunscreen as opposed to the other two (something that I loved about the Purito sunscreen). So I guess this sunscreen is especially suited for dry skin. I had no problem with clogged pores/pimples with it

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen: I love the semi-matte finish and it leaves no white cast. Also wears nicely under make up and basically works as a primer, but it does seem to clog my pores a bit (my skin is acne-prone though so this might be no issue for other people).  Titanium apparently isn’t good enough to block UV-A (cancer causing and photo-aging) light on its own, so you must add zinc to it. I calculated the SPF based on the stated zinc and titanium percentages on the label and these calculations were usually different from the quoted SPFs (they might be adding more SPFs from other ingredients, but I can’t say for sure). Nine of the 13 MSSs had calculated SPFs 30+. Only 4 of the 13 had a calculated SPF greater than or equal to the label SPF

 2. Quick sunscreen tutorial. Most dermatologists say we should try to get an SPF of 30+. Each 1% of zinc counts for 1

 Only 3 of the 13 MSSs I tested had the following combination of characteristics: calculated SPF 30+, smell score 3+, and blend score 4+. These top three were: Neutrogena Sheer Zinc, Aveeno Positively Mineral, and Blue Lizard. When you factor in cost, it’s a no-brainer—Neutrogena and Aveeno were only half the cost of Blue Lizard. Therefore, my two winners (tied for first place) are Neutrogena Sheer Zinc and Aveeno Positively Mineral

This is labeled broad-spectrum SPF 50 Plus how much does it cost? This tube retails for 13 dollars? You can get it at Target or perhaps your local drugstore Is it a good deal? Definitely

 It makes liquid foundation look a bit whiter and bar more streaky than it typically would and the oily, thick texture of this makes it really hard to correct that streaking because it never really set so it works with you under mineral and powder foundations. I Don't like it because while initially it seems like you're going to get a better result, you can't build or blend if you blend in the mineral foundation. Overtop of this, this product will mix with the mineral foundation and sink into pores, giving you that orange peel look and ruining the sunscreen and finish. If you don't blend and stamp on the foundation at first, you're fine until you need to build coverage

 How does it look under makeup? For me, it's not wearable under makeup. I Think if you're truly extremely desperate, maybe you could get away with wearing this under makeup. It makes liquid foundation look a bit whiter and bar more streaky than it typically would and the oily, thick texture of this makes it really hard to correct that streaking because it never really set so it works with you under mineral and powder foundations. I love this sunscreen even tho it gives a little bit of a cast (I’m v pale). It’s got a texture but this looks more grainy than I’ve ever seen… might be an error.

 The old red tube claims: “No PABA, parabens phthalates, BPA, Oxybenzone, Avobenzone, petroleum, dioxane or toxic chemicals”, as well as a line about being the first sunscreen to pass Whole Foods premium body care requirements. The new orange tube removes both those lines. Both tubes claim no animal testing, new orange tube adds vegan and “reef friendly” logos.  TLDR: I’ll give the new version a shot and am provisionally rating at 4 stars based on past performance, but it’s definitely a reformulation, and Thinksport and Amazon should acknowledge that it’s a different product and in their text should use the new product label without the “+” to reflect that

I love this sunscreen and it does work. I recently had an unexpected outing where I was in the sun, at noon, no shade for two hours. I applied this in the morning, only one application. After that level of unexpected exposure with only one layer on, I had absolutely no color on my very pale skin - and I tan and burn easily

There's only so much that you can protect yourself using creams of one sort or another versus ultralight radiation, but this is the one and only product that I would recommend, having spent hours researching products and trying several over the years. Be sure to splash it on thick even though it looks like war paint. As far as I know, sunscreen works either by reflecting the sunlight or absorbing the ultraviolet and converting it into infrared. In the first case, you should expect to be white or highly reflective when you are wearing the goo
