 The Tsxw comes with a clamping mechanism, which I've never really used, so I can't comment on it as this is a review. I should go ahead and mention that the Tsxw works on Xbox and Pc, but not Ps4. And of course, we can't talk about the positives without mentioning the actual performance of the wheelbase. From the time I've used this wheel, I have nothing but good things to say regarding my experience with it

 Overall, an extremely solid and rigid build. Another note regarding its design: the power supply included with the Tsxw is unlike any I've ever seen. Take a look. This wheelbase also works as a hub for all other compatible Thrustmaster gear, so your thrustbuster pedals, shifters, or anything of that sorts plugs in directly here, which is very practical

 Instead, every time you're in a game and adjust the setting, you have to restart the game. For the change to be recognized, I will give Thrustmaster the benefit of the doubt and suppose this might just be a problem with the game and not the wheelbase. Finally, to top off negatives, although I don't know its exact weight, this is still a heavy piece of gear. This may or may not be seen as a negative, but keep this in mind if you have a delicate desk or a Diy cockpit for those with cockpits that hold up the wheel with a single tube

 There are of course, mounting holes which connect to nearly any cockpit out in the market. If you're using this on a desk, which I don't recommend due to the weight of this wheelbase.   In conclusion, the wheel feels great as a driving controller, but at this thing's price the couple annoyances described above are pretty disappointing to have to deal with.

 On one hand, I Do think you are truly saving money over a DIY Sparkle Simracing wheel project, so there is that. On the other hand, $650 is a lot of money to buy a bundle that doesn't have a low sell brake pedal. Sure, these pedals work, you know fairly well. I mean for years I was on the TPPA pedals with the conical brake mod and I mean I was able to drive competently, but once you drive the low self pedals, you realize what you've been missing

 The TSX W is enjoyable to drive and only enhanced by our next topic. Unsurprisingly, the SPARC Opie 310 competition mod wheel is a star of the show. Coming in at 31 centimeters in diameter and featuring a flat top and bottom, this might be the best all-around wheel out there thanks to the design and size. I Feel comfortable driving it on any type of car

 Now if you are in need of a bundle of wheel and pedals, you can pick this up and you could always eventually replace the pedals with load cell pedals. Of course, that's at least another two hundred dollar investment. And then if you're racing on the Xbox one, you need to buy an adapter so you can run different manufacturer pedals with the Thrustmaster wheel base. so there is that

 Here, You're supposed to get this little screw into the back, but when you line the screw up and put it in, the wheel is wobbling like that. So I've left the screw out or it's in, but I use it to sort of tighten it up on a regular basis. That stops that movement back and forth. That helps a lot if there's any solution for that

 The wheel is super high quality, and everything feels heavier than Logitech. The FFB overall I can feel is lightyears better, and smoother, due to the belts over Logi's gears. So to the pros and cons that I noticed:  Pros: -Very good quality hardware (minus pedals, see cons), the alcantara feels nice. -Strong, smooth FFB -D toggle is nice  Cons: -Quite notchy close to center for delicate games like American Truck Sim

So in essence, let's just get this out of the way: the Tsxw and Tsbc are very good mid-entry wheelbases. Now, the question is, how do they stand up to the competition? And that's where things get a little bit shaky

 Starting off, I'll confidently say that the Tsxw is a very solid mid-range wheelbase, and I say that with experience using wheels far more expensive and powerful than it. It's a ball driven wheelbase with up to six millimeters of torque, which provides powerful, quick, and most importantly, detailed feedback to the driver. So while wheels such as the T150 and 829 do offer force feedback at far cheaper prices, they don't come close to the precision and capabilities of the Tsxw and its equivalent Tspc real quick.  no other mechanical issues, even the removable wheel itself is firmly attached to the base exactly the same way as the day I installed it. The wheel continues to operate with the same force and detail as it's always had. Now, with all that considered, we can actually come up with a conclusion on whether this is the right upgrade wheel for you. All right guys

 I would highly recommend though upgrading the pedals because the T3pas just don't do the wheel justice and they're just not going to cut it in the long run. So if mid-level racing wheel is your goal and that's where you're going to want to stay, the Tsxw is definitely a great option, but it should be the consistency. It should be the standard for Sim racing wheels, not the mid-level When I first got into Sim Racing, this is what I expected the wheel to feel like. and I feel like when you get into those lower levels, you just don't get that

 The base is powered by a 400 watt power supply and a turbo designed to add function and decor to your rig. All this is supplying six newton meters of force. But the problem is the price does continue to climb when you get into the Fan attack world, because now you're looking at four hundred dollars a pop for any interchangeable wheels you want, and you might want a clutch and a load cell pedal to go with the basic set, so all that's going to cost you? It's going to go well over a thousand dollars in the end, but initial investment is still very comparable. So with the introduction of the Dd wheel or the Csl, Dd, Fanatec has discontinued all their belt-driven wills, making direct Drive the direct competition for Thrustmaster

 Sometimes it’s hard to tell during a race if you pressed them or not. The main reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the clamp mount allows the wheel to move a bit with higher force feedback settings. Also when used in the PC you must have free bus ports for both the wheel and pedals and if you have the Thrustmaster shifter you must also plug that directly into the computer. So make sure you have 3 bus ports available on your computer
