 So before we get into the review, a quick look at some of the essential points of the Urban Glide 2. So the age range is for six months to four to five years or 22 kilograms. There is a bassinet you can buy separately for newborns. It also comes in a double model if you happen to have two kids

 Just find the big blue button, depress it and pull the wheel out. Same goes for putting it in, push the blue button in, snaps into place. The Urban Glide 2 wraps up in a little package which should fit in almost any car boot. To make it even smaller, you want to remove the two big rear wheels and fold the handlebar down to the minimum setting

 Last thing I want to mention here is the wrist strap which I always put on when I'm running or maybe when I'm just walking down a hill whenever you just want a little bit of extra security. Two things to mention with it, one is that to be honest I've seen classier wrist straps, this one's just a regular piece of cord which is fine and two is that it's stuck on the left hand side which isn't a big deal, it means you can only use it on your left wrist, isn't a big deal but it's nice when you can move it around and choose a different wrist. So two minor quibbles with the wrist strap but nothing major to complain about. Okay now I think it's time to take this thing out for a run

 Love the reflective piping on the seats, the covered storage area, and the blue touch points. The seats were just the dealbreaker for us. I can’t imagine what kids will be able to fit comfortably in the seats, but my tall skinny ones are not the ones.  This is 25 pound stroller so it's not the lightest stroller in the world but it really does the trick if you want to make this smaller all you have to do is push on the middle of the back wheel and the wheel comes right out you can actually become really small it also makes it a lot lighter when you take off the wheel. Thule Urban Glide 2 2021 Full Review | Magic Beans | Best Running Strollers

 As they get older, you can put a show on, and get a couple minutes here or there to get things done. My 3 year old also helps, like actually helps, with chores and errands, and will watch a whole show without needing me. There are things that are harder and things that are easier in every stage, but what people don't talk about is that kids get way better at entertaining themselves as they get older. Even my VERY busy and boisterous almost 2 year old is now getting to the point where he'll play by himself for little bit, and I can get some things done

I AM SO DEAD DAILY

Then i think of single moms, moms with deployed spouses, moms whos babies get up 5x a night. And i think BUT HOW?! My wife does work crazy hours so im alone a lot, but when she is home she helps like crazy.

I barely survive now, by 4pm my body is dead. And i push through until their 7pm bed and i barely survive. After their bedtime i clean for 20 to 40 minutes(and theres still cleaning left to do after that) and i sit, and i just cant get up.

I remember moms telling me how hard/tiresome it is, and i believed it but i simply did not realise! I thought i worked hard at my job, jesus this is like having 5 jobs!

My daily walk where i get 30 minutes of silence gives me such sanity, its only june and im already dreading winter because i know i wont be able to go outside as much with the snow/temperature.

Give me your secrets, or tell me im not alone.

Overall good, but watch out for the cheapo locking latch and "meh" customer service

 Alright, let's move on and make a few notes on the Glide 2 then, which is identical to the Urban Glide 2 in all respects other than the wheels, where the 16-inch rear wheels and 12-inch swivel wheel have been traded out for 18-inch rear wheels and a 16-inch fixed wheel, a setup increasing both stability and shock absorption for rocketing your way over rougher ground. I do wish that there was a tracking wheel, or some easier means of fine-tuning the tilt in the front, other than just slightly adjusting how the front wheel is attached within the fork, but it is worth noting that, as long as you maintain relatively even tire pressure, the somewhat pliable feeling of the Glide 2's lighter weight chassis does make this less of a problem than with heavier models, at least when running off-road, as opposed to on long, straight stretches of pavement. And in the end then, I find both of these models to be solid, lightweight, no-nonsense options for use in rougher environments with harsher winter conditions, though I would say that there are definitely somewhat more comfortable strollers for more urban-oriented lifestyles and use with a car, as well as running strollers that perform a bit better in some respects.  Today, we wanted to go over the two current single-child variants of Thula's flagship design, the Urban Glide II and the Glide II, the first having a lockable swivel wheel for easier all-around use, while the second, with its fixed front wheel, is a dedicated jogging model. These strollers are a bit unique on the market, providing a degree of terrain capability not often seen in combination with such lightweight chassis, yet they're not without their faults. And today then, we're going to give a brief overview of their strengths and weaknesses in terms of ease of use, mechanics, and performance. And focusing mainly on the more common urban variant then, I'd like to start out by saying that to get the most out of the model, you really have to need its rather specific attributes, where it will be ideal, really mainly for people who live either in rural conditions or places with a decent amount of snow in the winter

 As far as the various function mechanisms on these models are concerned, despite employing a drum system for the dynamic handbrake, the use of separate, adjustable wires for either side, as opposed to the more common setup of a single wire that splits in the middle, make the system much more reliable and wear-resistant than similar setups on comparable models. The static brake and folding mechanisms are simple and sturdy as well, as is the swivel lock, and though I would have liked it if they had kept the tracking wheel from the original Urban Glide, adjusting the tilt of the front wheel on this model, as opposed to its jogging-specific brother, always seemed a bit less necessary, as in my opinion, you shouldn't really use the Urban Glide as a running stroller anyway, since the front wheel housing is not reinforced enough to prevent wear from loosening up the connection to the front wheel in the long run. Alright, let's move on and make a few notes on the Glide 2 then, which is identical to the Urban Glide 2 in all respects other than the wheels, where the 16-inch rear wheels and 12-inch swivel wheel have been traded out for 18-inch rear wheels and a 16-inch fixed wheel, a setup increasing both stability and shock absorption for rocketing your way over rougher ground. I do wish that there was a tracking wheel, or some easier means of fine-tuning the tilt in the front, other than just slightly adjusting how the front wheel is attached within the fork, but it is worth noting that, as long as you maintain relatively even tire pressure, the somewhat pliable feeling of the Glide 2's lighter weight chassis does make this less of a problem than with heavier models, at least when running off-road, as opposed to on long, straight stretches of pavement

Thule Glide 2 & Urban Glide 2: Mini Review

 We love the Thule Urban Glide 2. The hand brake is great for going downhill. I see dads using these strollers regularly.

Hello, have a big 8mo old boy and want to go hiking. Need something comfortable and durable and not too pricey. He’s probably 23lbs right now. Any recommendations from other dads out there on what’s comfortable and also not sissy looking?

Which toddler carrier (up to 50lbs?)

My double Thule glide 2’s gears - where it folds in half- broke. I’ve had it for 14 months and use it with my infant twins. I’ve submitted a warranty claim to Thule that was initially declined due to wear but they just approved my warranty claim. I used this stroller for walks and out and about - never jogging

 You have to unclip it in order for the stroller to pop open this FYI. And also don't forget to hit the like button and subscribe. So before you take the stroller out for a walk, make sure that you pump the air into the tires. All three tires require air to be pumped into them

 But they also provide you with a handbrake system on the top of the handle. That handbrake system is very handy when you are in a downhill position. So when you are going downhill, a lot of time the shoulder might go a little bit faster than you intended. You can use the handbrake to slow down the shoulder as it's going downward

 Now however, they do provide you with a full coverage mesh, but that you have to purchase separately. And the last thing I have issues with is the hand strap. Now they only provide you for the left hand and the hand strap cannot move to the right side. So when you are running, the only way that you can strap on is using your left hand

 Now I have tried Bob's Gear running shoulder and that one is very hard to maneuver once you have the front wheel in the lock position. Now but for this one, it's super easy because there's two modes of front wheel lock. As long as you lock the front wheel to facing backward, not only the shoulder is stable but it's very easy for you to get around the corners. So for people who are serious about jogging and who has a baby, this shoulder is very good for those parents
