UPPAbaby CRUZ V2 Stroller Review

I didn’t find the stroller to be that comfortable to walk for me - super bumpy and the way the handle angled was uncomfortable on my wrists. When the pandemic started, I decided to buy the Uppababy Cruz stroller since we were home and doing walks so much more.

I’m curious about the expensive baby gear like the Uppababy strollers and the Snoo (among others). 

I have friends who have bought them and swear they are great and worth every penny, but I also have friends with kids who say it’s ridiculous and they’d never spend that much money on baby gear. That said, the people in the latter group have not actually ever used these devices. 

I am curious to hear from people who did splurge and realize it wasn’t worth it. Seems that the bad reviews about either of the above products are about things like shipping issues with the wholesaler, so nothing to do with the products themselves. 

Is there anyone who bought the “top of the line” equipment and really regretted it because the manufacturing/quality/stability was not all it was cracked up to be? I’m interested in these thoughts on other products too. Thanks!

Questions about expensive baby gear

Great product for tall parents  (6’6 and 6’0)

 It said out of stock and then when I called they were like we have them in stock don't know what's going on. I don't know I think they canceled it because I chose same-day delivery and there's no like there was no delivery driver or maybe I was too far away. It's like a 53 minute drive to this place so anyways and then sorry I'm blabbing but it's been a roller coaster today so then I called the place closer to me. Crocker Park where I've gone a few times lately

 Well we were on our way to Crocker Park. Does anybody else's child just instantly get hungry once you're on the ride somewhere like I just fed him right before we walked out the door but now he's hungry? Every single time. Can any moms relate? Any moms with kids, toddlers who just get hungry when you're on a car ride? So we're at this little corner. I know I usually do I usually am smart enough to bring something but today I'm like scatterbrained so we stopped at a little corner store

One Thing You Wish You Didn’t Buy

High price almost justified

 Fortunately, the seat in the Cruz can also recline quite well. — Comes with two covers and a belly bar.  Cons: — Price. HOWEVER, I took a risk and ordered a "like new - open box" option on Amazon at a $150 discounted rate

 — Not necessarily a con, but I prefer the fold (how simple it is) in the Baby Jogger GT2 better (absolutely not a deal breaker).  I would purchase this again.

10/10. I have owned several strollers (most recent baby jogger Citi Mini GT2 in double and single).  Pros: — Very nimble. — Excellent storage space

 Very happy about this! — My toddler fits fairly well in our Baby Jogger GT2 but is a little "snug" in the Cruz. It's a bit less roomy IMO, but she still seems to be comfortable. I was considering the Vista but chose the Cruz given her age and preference for walking. I feel confident in my decision

When we went to look at strollers, my husband’s only ask was that the basket be big enough for Stella for when she gets old. ❤️

 You have to either remove the seat or flip it back to front-facing. However, doing this is so easy that it really isn't that much of an annoyance.
