 The packaging for it was absolutely horrible. They wrapped the device box with another device box instead of using an actual shipping box. It arrived damaged, boxwise AND product wise. The box was in super bad shape, and there is a big dent in the cooker

I don't know who said this rice cooker was easy to clean, but it is not. If rice boils over the liquid not only gets on the counter, but drips down beneath the heating element and gets into the cracks and crevices in the lid. It is impossible to clean some of those places, and even cleaning the basic unit takes almost as much time as making rice itself. I rarely make more than 1 1/2 cups of rice and wash and soak thoroughly and most times it still boils over
