The Tineco PURE ONE X Tango is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a stick vacuum that won't break the bank. This cordless vacuum is considerably cheaper than the Tineco PURE ONE S11 or Samsung Jet 90 Complete but still offers exceptional performance on flat, hard surfaces like wood floors. Its built-in dirt sensor, another rarity at this price point, is similar to that of the Tineco S11 and allows the vacuum to increase its suction power when it encounters an area with a high concentration of debris. It's a little flimsier than pricier models, with a cheap-feeling body made mainly from lightweight plastic. While its maximum battery life of over 70 minutes is pretty long, the battery isn't designed to be removable, so you can't install a new one if the current pack's charge performance degrades.

If you want a mid-priced vacuum for cleaning hardwood and don't mind the limited range of a corded vacuum, the Shark Rotator Lift-Away ADV is a solid choice. It's more of a hassle to deploy and maneuver than the Tineco due to its bulkier upright design. However, it does an exceptional job of handling debris on hard, flat surfaces and is better suited for longer cleaning sessions.

Check out the Tineco PURE ONE X Tango if you're looking for a more affordable vacuum to handle debris on laminate surfaces. It's similar in design to the Tineco PURE ONE S11 and features the same automatic power adjustment capability. However, there are a few key differences to explain the lower purchase price. The Tango has a weaker suction motor, resulting in inferior deep cleaning performance, most notably in cracks and crevices. While its battery yields a longer overall runtime than the S11, it isn't designed to be removed or replaced.

Regardless of the differences between the two, this vacuum is still highly effective in dealing with both pet hair and solid household debris on hard, even surfaces like laminate flooring. The Tineco PURE ONE X Tango is the best cordless vacuum for tile floors at a mid-range price point that we've tested. It has a much smaller dustbin than the Dyson V8 or Samsung Jet 90 Complete and feels rather flimsy in places. That said, it still offers an impressive wealth of features for the price. It can automatically increase its suction power when passing over an area with a high concentration of debris. It also comes with two floorheads, one with a soft roller for delicate bare surfaces and a multi-surface floorhead with a bristled brushroll for cleaning the occasional rug or carpet. Performance on bare surfaces is exceptional too. You can also keep tabs on what components need washing or replacing by pairing the vacuum with its smartphone app.

While its maximum battery life of over 70 minutes is considerably longer than most other cordless stick vacuums and compares favorably to higher-end models, the battery itself isn't designed to be replaceable, so you can't swap in a new pack if the current one is damaged or has simply run out of charge.

Consider the Tineco PURE ONE X Tango if you're shopping for a cordless vacuum for dealing with pet hair at a lower mid-range price point. Compared to the pricier Tineco PURE ONE S11, it has a less powerful suction motor and consequently has a harder time drawing heavier debris from carpeted floors. If you only plan on using this vacuum to clean up lightweight pet hair, it won't disappoint. It's also lighter than its pricier sibling, making it a cinch to maneuver in cluttered areas. Its onboard HEPA filter helps it seal in fine allergens. Like the S11, it can automatically adjust its suction power to match different surfaces.

This vacuum can run for over 70 minutes when used in its least powerful suction mode, giving it a longer runtime than the S11. However, its battery isn't designed for removal, so you can't swap in a new pack if the one that you're using is depleted or damaged.

After using my daughters cordless vac I had high hopes in finding one that worked as well but this was not it. The suction was not powerful enough to clean the kitchen floor and the battery life was half what was expected. Returned and will try another brand.

Did not meet expectations

 Doesn’t work on kitty litter or piles of crumbs. Will all fall right out after you turn off the power. Power is only decent in power mode, which only gives you a whopping 12 mins.

Just Save Up for a Dyson like you really want.

Terrible battery life

Updated 6/18/22, see below:  The vacuum is lightweight, started out fabulous. Used it 2-3x a week for small things, like tidying the bathroom/laundry room floors, or a quick vacuum of the kitchen. However, I purchased this in June 2021, about a month ago it began losing it last charge. Not even had it a year and this thing lasts maybe 3 minutes before I have to put it back on the charger

  Update: after my review, Tineco reached out by email and gave my some tips to check and see if I could get the vacuum back to its original running time. We usually clean it each time we empty it, but after taking every piece and part out and thoroughly cleaning it, it is running longer now. I would still say the running time and the suction power are worth noting 4 stars.

Love! But not "in love"

This vac works very well on low-pile rugs as well as floors, and is so light weight that even my elderly mother will use it occasionally. No more back aches from lugging around a full size vacuum! It’s as easy as sweeping with a broom, but with way better results! I also love that it converts to a handheld quickly and easily, light enough to vacuum the blinds with the brush attachment. It also has an attachment to vacuum off the pre-filter while using the second pre-filter that comes with it. The only potential drawback is that it isn’t exactly free-standing

The best purchase I’ve made in a long time!

I have two kids that make messes constantly, so when I use the vacuum to clean up their little messes it just doesn’t get it all unless on high suction power (that I manually select). Then when I disassemble it to put back on the charger, crumbs fall down the tube back on my floor… forget vacuuming backwards and expecting to suction anything up, the vacuum just pushes it along
