I wanted a case that was no bigger than it needed to be for my 2021 MacBook Pro 14 — many cases are generic and for all kinds of 14" laptops, making them bigger than they need to be. As you can see by the photo, the tomtoc case fits the MBP14 perfectly - there's no extra space. In fact, you kind of have to fit the MBP into the case. That's not a bad thing though, it's what I wanted

I got the 13’ one for my iPad 12.9. Without a cover it fits fine - even with a bumper case it fits fine. But most of the time I have a zugu case on my iPad and it’s a tight squeeze to get it in, in case anyone else uses that case and is looking at this

Durable and easy to handle

despite the sub-one inch differences between M2 Air and M1 14” Pro, which represent a fairly large cubic difference, this fits the 2022 Macbook Air M2 almost perfectly. there’s some extra wiggle room since it’s meant for the 14, but it’s way better than the 13” case that purports itself to work with the new M2 Air. it’s rather bulky, so not what i’d use to also carry in a pack, but it’s damn near perfect for standalone carry.

Let me begin this review by saying I have never -- I repeat -- NEVER gone back and reviewed an item on Amazon, but I've had such a positive experience with this product that I felt the need to make an exception.  I bought this sleeve October of 2018 for use with my then-brand-new MacBook Pro 13" -- over a year ago. All the attached photos, on the other hand, are from TODAY -- i.e

 a YEAR after purchase. As you can tell, even after almost-daily use (schlepping it to-and-from work inside of an unprotected tote bag, dragging it on trips, bringing to coffeeshops, etc.), the only sign of wear is slight dirtying of the logo in the lower left-hand corner. Otherwise, I've noticed no significant -- if any -- frayed threads, ripped fabric, or zipper malfunctions

 I'll come back and update if anything changes, but judging from how it's held up during its first year and how well it's protected my computer through a few desk-to-floor tumbles, I suspect it'll easily last me for the lifespan of this computer and beyond. I'm so glad I decided to invest a few extra bucks in computer protection by purchasing this bag, and highly recommend that you do so as well, as the list price is extremely fair for the quality of the product.  P.S

I purchased this for my new M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro. I've had sleeves for my previous MacBooks, but wanted something made to fit the new machine and something that offered more protection for drops/falls. Obviously, there are tradeoffs for size, comfort and ultimate protection.

.. but I wasn't interested in a rigid, bulky case. I've had the laptop and new sleeve for a month now and I am super impressed with the sleeve

I've been buying Tomtoc laptop sleeves for my Macbook Pros since 2015 and this one did not disappoint. They are great material, have lovely padding, aren't too bulky, fit the laptop snugly but not too tight and even have an extra compartment where I usually throw in a few pens, earplugs, a charging cable and other miscellaneous items. My original one is still in use and I purchase this for a family member who just got a new computer - my favorite feature is that they're easy to clean and look sleek when on the go! Perfect way to protect a great investment for a fraction of the cost!
