The tomtoc 360 Protective sleeve is just that &mdash; extremely protective. This one is much like our editors' favorite, the JETech, but slightly bulkier and arguably more durable. Its polyester material sheds water very effectively, and the case is lined with a textured, soft foam that provides impressive impact resistance. Overall, this is a very well-made case that is built to last. Because of this, it comes at a slightly higher price than some of the other options listed here. If longevity is a concern, then this is a good investment. 
Because it is so burly and well made, the tomtoc is also a bit bulkier than the rest. This case is substantially wider than a lot of comparable products. Overall, the sleeve's dimensions make it a baggy fit for the claimed laptop size it's designed for. This may not be an issue for some, but we found it a bit annoying to have the laptop sliding around inside.

"Okay" for for a Thinkpad X1E Gen 4

 Here is why.  If you have a surface pro with keyboard cover and dont need to carry power cords or any other accessories then this is a perfect case for you. It is well padded and quality zippers and material.  This company has incredible customer service

 I was looking for a good fit, light weight, water resistance (i.e., short distances in light rain), a handle, and room for the slightly bulky Surface Book 3 power block. By some stroke of luck, I came across this Tomtoc "sleeve" and it seemed to be perfect

 We'll see how it handles the rigors of normal use, but I see no reason to expect it to wear out during the life of the computer. The build quality seems excellent, and it even has YKK zippers. It's a quality product at a reasonable price.

PERFECT fit for Surface Book 3

 The only thing I had to get used to is that this case opens on the side, relative to the handle. This is not a negative, just something that requires me to relearn how I retrieve it from the bag. Overall this is a very nice bag for transporting a smaller laptop. Good value!

I needed something small to carry just my Macbook Pro (circa 2019) that would protect it when I did not need to take my larger computer bag, but that would also fit in the larger computer bag to provide additional protection.
