My drugstore product has to be the L'oreal Infallible Fresh Wear foundation. It dries the hell out of my skin, even though I don't have that problem with other natural finish foundations.

My mid/high end product is the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. Interestingly enough, I think the L'oreal Infallible setting spray work just as well at a much cheaper price. My go-to setting spray though is definitely the Tarte Stay Spray and I feel like it's not talked about enough

Popular drugstore and mid/high end products that just DON'T work for you

Uhmm, no!

I switched to waterproof liquid eyeliner pens and they’re so much better. Too Faced Better Than Sex liquid eyeliner is my favourite, it’s a brush tip and I get a good 3 months out of it with daily use.

HELP! No matter what I do my eyeliner smears.

I use a primer, dust with powder foundation, and then use a waterproof gel liner. After a few hours I’m already getting smears on my lids. I have hooded eyes.

Any other tips/tricks to prevent this? I only do kitten liner because going all the way is just useless with my hoods, and I’ve been using NYX black mousse waterproof liner.

Too Faced Better than Sex is the best mascara I’ve ever used, and I’ve used all of them from higher-end (Dior, Benefit, Lancôme, Clinique, etc.) to drugstore (Revlon, Covergirl, Maybelline).

I’ve never found a mascara that has worked well for my lashes. I have super thin, weak lashes that don’t hold a curl for long and any mascara I put on them weighs them down so that there’s no point in even wearing the mascara. 

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good black mascara (drugstore or Sephora) that could work for my lashes. I’d rather it not be waterproof, but I’ll still take those recs since waterproof seems to be my only option in holding my lashes up.

What I would like is a mascara with a skinny brush tip. My lashes are OK but one eye is curled more than the other. I don't like waterproof.

I do not get perfume from there (and I have a huge collection already, don't need anything else).

Any palettes you love (esp for a middle aged blue eyed artist and dog person) that I might not have?

Don't need new lip anything.

Not a super luxury person.

Have loads of skincare and don't need hair stuff.
