I should say so once you put this in the position you want for the orientation of carry it's gon na stay there, it's not going to easily move. However, if you want to take the clip off, you have to understand and it's going to void the warranty. So this is the paper that was pushed underneath the clip alright, when I opened it, it says: notice heavy-duty spring steel clip

Not a very practical knife , had to sharpen out the box as well . I’d recommend getting the rat or something else instead of this.

To say this has an incredibly stout blade is an understatement! In reality, this thing could drive nails if you wanted it to. My only "complaint" is the rat tail shape of the bottom end of the handle. In my larger hand, my palm slips off the back end due to the shorter design of the top of the handle.
