  The warm seat is nice but the warm water spray, features say it last s1 minute, but it only lasts 30 seconds at best. While after the warn water is done it isn't cold, but the product clearly says 1 minute of warm water.  As someone new to the experience it's not getting me as clean as I would want and still need a couple wipes with TP. Hoping this changes with practice

  I am a 6 foot large male and the seat itself has a smaller hole so I feel crammed on it. It forces me to sit more upright, which might be good but adds to the crammed feel. Also the seat and lid don't feel as sturdy as my old kohler seat. Not sure how long it was last

Good but not great

  The seat itself is not made as well as the old seat. It’s a hard plastic that looks ok but feels cheap. The fan & other features work well but the fit & feel as not what we had with the older unit. The lid stands straight up making it a bit awkward when sitting

 The seat does not easily slide & lock onto the bracket like the old seat did. It takes some force to get it to lock into place.  The seat itself is not made as well as the old seat. It’s a hard plastic that looks ok but feels cheap

I decided to upgrade from a manually operated bidet that went under the toilet seat, and this was one of the highest rated bidets on Amazon.  Installation was straightforward. The plumbing part is identical to the old bidet; just screw in a couple tubes in the right places and voila. The instructions are mostly just pictures with arrows, so I had to make some guesses about attaching the seat to the toilet, but I got through it and it's fine

Not as great as the reviews would indicate; has a few flaws.

 It makes a ton of noise doing the cleaning cycle and refilling the reservoir and has a bright blue light, both which make it obnoxious to use in the middle of the night. In fact I avoid using the bathroom we installed it in for anything other than #2.

Redesigned control is awful

 But having a heated toilet seat makes up the difference. Also surprising noticeable..

 I've really only noticed it while cleaning, not while using.  After using this for about 6 months, it feels medieval using toilets without a bidet. I'm on team bidet now and think everyone should have one, even if just a basic unit. In retrospect, I would have been fine with something cheaper

 2) the electrical cable is really short. In our case, the outlet is on the left side of our toilet but the cable comes out the right-side of the seat. It barely reached our outlet. So, it works, but could definitely be a foot longer to make things easier for people

First, let me get the complaints out of the way first: 1) it's cheap plastic. For the price, I really wish this was a bit more heavier-duty in terms of build. Despite being packaged well, we had a corner chipped off en route. Not enough to warrant the time/effort to return and was fixable with a bit of super glue but it would be nice to see some heavier duty construction

Bought this because it was the highest rated in a NYT review. And their were complaints about the hot water not working for the competitive product I was considering. I did see someone else’s review for this toilet saying that the seat was small. But you always wonder, just how small a small

Yes, the seat is a bit small for your American a$$.

 I had to take the entire back tank off the toilet in order to attempt connection because my Toto toilet has an enclosed access. Even after doing all of this, it wouldn't work because the T-connector was about an inch too long.  I purchased a third party T-connector that ended up not working. Everything screwed together fine, but I found that the washlet uses a non-standard connection

  That said, I had some difficulty with installation. The T-connector did not fit behind my Toto toilet tank as it was too long. I had to take the entire back tank off the toilet in order to attempt connection because my Toto toilet has an enclosed access. Even after doing all of this, it wouldn't work because the T-connector was about an inch too long
