 I Said eventually man. That's brutal if you do hit it Wow touch wood Okay, so let me talk about the things I didn't like about the TSG The first thing is this pad this pad does wear out as you can see mine is already coming out if you do use your Pads a lot I do think you can buy some replaceable ones on the website and you do get an extra one when you buy the helmet But it does wear out pretty quickly, which I didn't like the other thing I didn't like is how snug the helmet fits. This is both a good and a bad thing I didn't like it because every time I put this helmet on it kind of chafes my ears and if I'm skating a whole Day and taking off the helmet and putting it back on my ears feel quite sensitive at the end of the day The other thing is the helmet is not so good in hot weather The heat tends to build up very quickly and it can get uncomfortable That's why I say it's only best like if you don't have to physically exert yourself so much But yeah that issue can be dealt with like lifting the visor Occasionally the other thing is the visor isn't that good in wet weather It doesn't deal with droplets very well and the droplets tend to stay on the helmet I've dealt with this by sort of skating with a visor half open when it's wet But you know, that's not really a deal breaker to be honest skating in the rain just sucks generally and visibility is always poor No matter which helmet to use. But yeah, I just thought it would be something to point out to you guys There's also gonna be a link in the description for buying this product

 They also provide a lot of clarity and calmness because you have a visor and because your ears are covered Your face isn't being abused by the wind as much, you know your eyes Stop tearing there's not as much wind noise and it's a lot clearer and calmer at those higher speeds So if you want that experience, definitely get a full face full face is also a good idea If you skate a lot in winter time during winter time if you have like the wind going into your face like it can really make your eyes bleed or Bleed or tear up and it's just really painful against the face So having something and are like a visor that keeps your face warm is really really nice And it's these things are pretty clutch for inter skating and yeah Keep you warm and keep you enjoying skating during the coldest part of the year If you'd also get a full face if you're thinking of attending IDF slash GGA events, I believe full faces are mandatory for those events Yeah, this will just allow you to comply with those rules and actually attend the events So if you can relate to the following points then a full face might not be right to you if you spend the majority of your time skating slower than 40 miles per hour slower than 30 miles per hour a full face is typically gonna be overkill a half shell will Typically be enough security and enough safety for you when you skate at these slower speeds walking up the hill with this is quite a burden these helmets are heavy and It's very easy to sweat and get hot in them whenever I use these things for corner sessions They are super uncomfortable half shells are by far much better And if you just do corner sessions You don't skate that fast half shells are going to be more appropriate than a full face helmet And if you typically get back up the hill by walking or face might not be that good for you You're gonna be sweating a lot and it's gonna get really hot inside it if you do walk up back the hill But you skate at 60 miles per hour down that then a full face is completely mandatory. I'd say okay Finally, let's get into the review. So first thing is the TSG pass heavy. Yes

 Both sets are for downhill mountain biking It's a bit of a not certification for this helmet, but it is gonna protect you It comes in four main sizes from small medium large all the way to extra large comes with two visors Which are both removable you get like a clear visor this one and a shiny reflective visor, which is very cool Comes with a D ring strap, which is apparently super secure I don't know how true that is and then the pads are removable as well It has two cheek pads which are removable and then like a liner for the head here Which is also removable and secured by like these sort of magnetic straps, which you just sort of push it and you can hear like a click Just like that. It has EPS form around like this bowel sort of section but there's no EPS form here where you like your jaw goes and It is certified it is safe, but I don't know I'd like some EPS form here But I guess it is safe and it does have some other features which makes it a pretty great helmet And we'll be going into that in the review as always there's an in-depth write-up in the bio Check that out if you want a more detailed and more clear explanation and review of this helm So if you relate to the following things, you should consider getting a full face like the TSG So a full face is really appropriate if you consistently find yourself skating above 30 40 miles per hour With the chin bar and the thicker EPS form these helmets give you better protection and the better for taking Impacts at those higher speeds. TSG Pass Helmet Review | Indepth

  More Cons: The helmet labels inside clearly state "For use in non-motorized recreational sports such Pedal Cyclist, Skateboarding and Roller Skating." But it's marketed towards E Skateboarders all the time..

 It's frustrating because a pea sized double stick tape under the mounty thing would make it so much easier, but TSG can't be bothered for a few cents for reflective paint, so why be surprised they can't add double stick tape here.  Fourth and perhaps most important. It fits great everywhere except the upper forehead on the XL.

First off, it's 2022 and the TSG Pass Pro is still using double D rings. Why, on a "premium" helmet do we have to fiddle with them? There's so many other better options for clasps. And if they don't want to make their own, license them from someone for a couple bucks.  Second, they claim to care and focus on safety

Overhyped... Here's how.

 The only downside. the only downside to the helmet, which isn't the worst thing is this strap here. I mean these are kind of like old-school straps with these two metal like kind of clips here and you loop this lace through which isn't like the worst thing. I mean it takes a little bit to put on and take off, but you probably do it like under a minute

My hair looks a little funky. anybody else trying to avoid getting a haircut for like months on end and just doing themselves anyways I think I've been doing okay. So if you guys have done any research and you're looking at helmets for one-wheeling, you've probably looked at a couple of helmets and one of them might pop up

 I'm definitely keep the helmet I Love it I've been riding with it ever since I Got it? Will I stop using the other helmet I have no I think I should still use this I You know I probably won't wear a full face helmet just to go run down the street on the pine or something or even on the XR just to do a quick errand I don't think I need to wear the full face. it's really for me. I'll probably just you know. Quick short little rides I may wear this, you know I Still love this helmet

TSG Pass Helmet Review

 The helmet I got had paper thin padding and the "crown" of the shell still dug into my forehead leaving a red line for a few hours after wearing and hurt while wearing it. I would not consider myself a large guy or my head to me overly large either (L-XL in my other 2 helmets).  This also bears mentioning, this helmet has zero safety ratings. Not even the laughable DOT self rating standard

Which means it's not technically legal on the road in many areas and even trails and parks, and races and organizations that require you to be wearing a rated helmet. For the 350 price Tage there are a zillion helmets more comfortable and with more features than this from Bell, scorpion and others

Not for big heads, and seems a bit spendy for what you get

 So testing out this helmet. It seems to work pretty nice. I get these weird sounds from the wind which I usually don't get obviously when I'm not wearing this helmet. But the visor works great

 Just give you a frame of reference. I'm just short of six feet tall. This is again a large size helmet. You know it fits my body type I think fairly well

 That's the first time I actually knew what that stood for. Okay TSG on both sides of the helmet. And then yeah this is just a removable piece here. But I will probably remove this

 So I like this. This is pretty awesome. I should probably keep this box so I'm not using one of these helmets. Keep the box and everything together

TSG Pass Matte Black Helmet Review

Usually wear a size medium but for this one I had to go a size up. Pricey for its purpose and probably better to just buy a motorcycle helmet instead. For the amount you are paying it uses d-rings only instead of a quick release which is disappointing. If you are deciding between the predator or this, the predator is much lighter with customized fittings

Perfect helmet. It is that good.

 So I have this in this color and then I have the black one. The problem with this, and by the way, this is an amazing full face helmet, but this thing is for the summer. And the reason why this thing is for the summer is because of all the ventilation. This is like really light

 I think a lighter pad would be better, maybe I'm going to see if I can find one. So the air is going through the sides because there's nothing there, there's just an opening because I took out the pads. So I think I'm going to have to try again and try to incorporate the pads because the main reason for the helmet is for me to protect me from the wind and I can feel the wind going in like heavily where the pad is supposed to be. So I'm guessing once I have that put back in, it's going to feel better

I Need a Helmet!!! Unboxing and reviewing the Pass Pro by TSG

Youtube videos do this helmet justice on most fronts. The mouth foam I think is there to separate humidity from exhaling I assume, at least that's what I've been using it for. For me it is comfortable. My head size is about 58cm Customizing the size fitting for the helmets seems off the mark and not very easy to accomplish

 I wanted to see if I could get the fitting tighter, but it is not easy to do. Simple concept, but not easy.

Fit's well. Is comfortable.
