nothing has worked. Tunnelbear jsut enters a loop, sending and recieving no data, while eating 100% cpu. And the protonapp gives the message "we could not reach proton servers".

ProtonVPN

I use VyprVPN [1] which I've found to be good and fast. It's a bit of a tough area to research well. I might give TunnelBear a try.[1]: https://www.goldenfrog.com/vyprvpn

Verizon Wireless injecting tracking UIDs into HTTP requests

Tunnelbear does work great, except for the fact that it drains the battery in my phone like crazy.

I use SSHTunnel to route all traffic through my private server.

ProtonVPN

> the OpenVPN protocol is easy to be detected and banned in some highly censored network.Tunnelbear are one of the few VPN providers that use a thing called obfsproxy to circumvent this kind of censorship. They call it 'Ghostbear'[0] but really it's just an obfsproxy bundling which uses the domain fronting technique.

TunnelBear VPN app

" The Wall Street Journal.Haha - No thanks. The fact that TunnelBear rely on reviews from the MSM, who are gvt mouthpieces defending the NSA spying through sneaky wording techniques, this just puts me off.

Ask HN: What's the best corporate password manager?

Apple software of course requires their hardware, which is a deal-breaker for many.RememBear is made by the company that runs TunnelBear, which is a performant, permissive and reasonably transparent VPN platform. I have not tried RememBear but I would start there due to my positive experience with TunnelBear.
