 But maybe like five or 10% of people who buy these will have these connection issues where it starts stuttering or hitching. That leads me to my final take on these earphones. They're 250 bucks, but to me, these are pretty much comparable to other $200 earphones I've used, except I guess they tack on an extra 50 bucks for the forming quality. I kinda wish they didn't

I have always wanted to try these! - UE Fits Earbuds

One weird thing ive noticed is getting out of the subway or train is that the connection stutters on each ear bud for a few seconds then goes away. Sony store person said there are too many wireless signals going around so it interferes with the connection, I dunno if believe that answer or not. I came from the Ultimate ears Fits, which like the name says fits very well , but the connection has freaking terrible on videocalls.

 

So I am looking for my a first pair of true wireless earbuds and I have narrowed it down to the linkbuds S and xm4. I am mainly gonna use them for watching videos/movies Like YouTube and Netflix but also for music so the sound guality has to be good. Also the ANC has to be good for buss rides and studing. I also value comfortability very much.

I am having a hard time desiding between the two. Both have their pro's and con's, the xm4's have industry leading sound guality and ANC but I hear that they are big, uncomfortable and look ridicilous sticing out of your ear. In the otherhand you have the linkbuds s that are supposed to be realy comfortable but the audio guality and ANC are not that good but some people say that they are not far behind on sound guality nor ANC just not quite on the level of xm4. I am woried that the xm4's won't fit my mid size ears and be uncomfortable.

ATM In my country the xm4's are 200€ and the linkbuds s 150€ so there is a price gap.

Should I get the Sony Linkbuds S or the WF-1000xm4?

I am sort of ambivalent with these earbuds at $249, these buds a top tier price but lack some features that I consider a must in the top tier category. Great Ear buds but the price is steep for what you get  The Good:  Comfort- As I stated in my title. More comfortable than the AirPods in fact the most comfortable ear buds I’ve ever had. That is saying a lot, truth is these are the only ones that I have completely forgotten they were in my ears

 Do you hold them tightly in your ears, loosely, etc. I think I got them right but it is still a guess on my part.  -Connection with the iPhone was a breeze other devices not so much. Took three tries to get them to connect to the Amazon Fie TV Stick and it took tech support to get them to connect to my Dell Laptop

 If sound quality is your top priority there are other options at a lower price point.

  -Battery life: You get a full work day but only another day from the case. I would expect a minimum of two more charges in the case. All the other buds have a lot more and a way of knowing how much is left in the case would be nice. You have to disconnect from what ever you are using and connect to you phone to find out how much power you have left

More comfortable than the AirPods (any of them).

 These are not with their full retail price, they aren’t even worth their sale price. Get another pair of earbuds even if they don’t have a molded fit. The regular AirPods, Beats Studio Buds, newer Bose SoundSport, Jabra Elite Active 75t (or Elite 85t), and Samsung Galaxy Buds+ all provide better sound quality, Bluetooth stability, and features.  Wait until UE/Logitech release a 2nd generation with better drivers, better Bluetooth, and ANC (which these sorely need even at their sale price of $175)

Great concept, bad execution

 Not great for calls. Definitely not worth the $250 like others say. I am returning them just cause they are cheaper once out there for the same quality.  I was excited when I found out about this earbuds I have small ears and bought just about every samsung bud and none fit

 I was able to hear everything and everyone in my office so no privacy at all. could not concentrate due to not having noise cancellation. I have reached out to UE before I return them. Let's see what happens they are my last hope

I began to mold them right away they felt huge in my ear but okay well they have not been molded yet. once they got molded they still felt big but they did not fall. wore them around the house and they where not comfortable just cause they felt big but they stayed in

Not a great fit Definitely not worth $250

 Between it staying on in the cradle killing battery life, and randomly disconnecting, pausing, changing volume, and shutting off, they’re probably the worst headphones I’ve had in that regard. But they make up for it in their sound quality and in their ear tips that don’t fall out no matter the situation.  The app paired with it is one of those, install it for setup then you really don’t need it after that, kind of situations. The eq in the app is okay, but that’s the only thing I can see using it for, which is serviceable, but I feel there should be more settings such as being able to turn off noise cancelling or more control over inputs like being able to turn off volume control by sliding

 I have updated the firmware on them to see if it was an issue that they solved and it isn’t. If these didn’t have the custom ear tips, they would be awful headphones that are borderline unuseable.   Okay, so getting past the two minute fit and ten minute update for the application was ready to hear some powerful sounds. That didn't happen. The sound is limited via the application and the choices are limited to the next track, previous track, volume up, volume down and voice assistant. While the options are limited you are able to assign them as you wish

 Still the lack of limited options bothers me for the price. The tips are larger than most and only comes with one pair. For the fit I would have liked to use them while on my treadmill. I can't go past 3 miles per hour without the slimy feeling in my ear

 Only test is via the app after the fact you already molded them. This wasn't an Epic fail, but could have been had I not just felt the warming sensation in my ears. It was that moment when I realized that something important was happening. The fit is secured in my right ear, but my left not so much

 The custom fit I guess we the point for these ear buds, but you can be totally screwed if you didn't follow your instincts. There's nothing in bold that tells you to STOP!

Not too bad, but not worth the money

 This set does a good job. I tend to drop a lot of my single ear pieces because they just don’t fit well when I move around. The ones that fit inside my ear canal tend to start to hurt because I wear them for so long. This bud does a great job of staying in place and does not hurt my ear

 I have completed the “fit test” and sent back to the company. I have also emailed the company and have not received any response back. I tried to call but was on hold for so long that I gave up and tried the electronic route. I would probably give the set a 4 star if not for all of these issues
