There are a few inconveniences with this model, most glaringly the massive size of the case. While the case is made from lightweight materials, the Urban Armor Gear will cause your MacBook to take up quite a bit more space. Also, the case is not as straightforward to install or remove as some other models. Finally, this case is more expensive than most of the models in our review.

If you’re planning on opening and closing your MacBook even semi-often, I would suggest looking for a different case.  If you’re expecting a higher-quality case for the steeper $80 price-tag of this item, I would suggest looking for a different case.  All around disappointed in this case; especially for it being $80

I just received this product and put on my macbook. When I was purchasing I was hesitant because of the negative reviews saying it was hard to put on (to the point it could break your screen) and that the plastic locking tabs were way too hard to open. I found both of these things to be untrue! While putting it on is not totally intuitive, it is easy to figure out. You do not need to press on the screen very hard to get the top on

 I can’t tell you how many times I dropped my iPhone.  I’m a little old lady and I do drop things. That is why I highly recommend this case.

If you want protection for your device, you can never go wrong with UAG.

 The feel of it feels very durable and is not slippery. I am very happy with this case so far even though it took forever for Amazon to ship it out to me. I am trying to think of a downside and nothing comes to mind which is a good thing!

CASE IS NICE AND STURDY - EASY TO GET ON

  It’s so tough and looks amazing but it was much more than I needed. I honestly don’t see myself taking my laptop anywhere because I sure as heck won’t be trying to do homework or work work when I’m traveling.  I rather have the reassurance that my MacBook Pro is safe from any falls or scratches that may happen with daily use. I've read in a few other reviews that the UAG case was difficult to install. I however, didn't have that problem. Although, I will have to get used to opening it using the corner tabs, I feel that's just a minor inconvenience

Peace of mind protection.

  The case was simple to install, ignore the bad reviews.  It seems some people are just sorta dumb or possible did something stupid with this case and prefer to blame it than own their own error.

Pricey, but seems to be the best option.
