Today's video is all about the latest launch from the house of Valentino Voce Viva Intensa. I featured the original in my newish fragrance roundup

 So Voce Viva Intensa comes in the exact packaging as the original except the cap is slightly different. The original has a very bright vibrant red color. So the very first thing that I always highlight in my fragrances is how beautiful the packaging is. It is so stunning to me

 All the notes blend really well together because throughout the day when I wore this I kept sniffing myself. I very much enjoyed that bubble that it created around me. The projection on this one is very average because it doesn't like go beyond like too far out. Just to give you a little insight on how much it projects it creates a beautiful fragrant bubble around you and you will smell yourself throughout the day for a very long time

 So of course when the intense version came out I was pretty curious to see if I would like it like I eventually liked the first one. So that first fragrance to me is very likeable. I feel like the first one was a beautiful feminine fragrance. It's very likeable, sophisticated and all of that

My First Collection Post!

 So this, it has a citrusy, creamy, play-dohy smell. I've noticed that the ice cream soaps from here, I get that play-dohy scent, but I still do enjoy it. It's nice pairing with this combo that I'm showing you. And I also use my Twinkling Nights body wash

 And to me, it's a year-round fragrance that is signature scent worthy to me. But for me personally, I just love it in the summer because to me it's the perfect summer vanilla. I mean, perfect. I would wear this year-round, but when I feel like I want to smell a little sweet with some vanilla and a citrusy, it's just perfection to me for the summer

 I've spoken about it before, given a sniff. It's one of my favorite body washes in my collection. And I forgot to mention, I started with my nectar soap. This is the creamsicle like ice cream soap

 So I use all of this together and I absolutely love the combo. I thought I smell fabulous in my own personal opinion. So you all, if you enjoyed this video, please give me a big thumbs up. It doesn’t give me a headache either, which is a bonus as strong perfumes definitely do. From what I’ve tried, I definitely gravitate towards sweeter perfumes I think.

I don't see a SOTD, so here goes. The strawberry season is finally upon us; my own harvest will come in a month if the squirrels be merciful. But I'm grateful for what is available at the local grocer. Got some on sale, and I'm celebrating with one of my favourite breakfast: [crumpet and strawberry two ways](https://i.imgur.com/yJOaz7B.jpg). Is it just me or strawberry is such a difficult note to photorealistically capture in perfumery? .. it always smells a touch too saccharine and artificial. 

The weather is glorious, I'm in my vetiver mood so **Lalique Encre Noire ** is my pick.

Voce Viva- Valentino - Just bought a bottle of this after testing it a couple of times, and comparing it to the dossier dupe. Voce Viva’s Ginger/ mandarin/ bergamot Top notes are spicier/ fuse together better than the dupe. It’s more boudoir-y than the dupe.

What, in your opinion, are some fragrances that are dubbed clones of others but offer better performance and projection?

good morning all! sorry to keep starting these, i’ve been waking up way too early lately.

today i am wearing a new sample of diptyque **do son** — an intoxicating blend of african orange, tuberose, and white musk. performance wise it is doing everything for me today that **philosykos** didn’t yesterday — diptyque has been redeemed in my eyes. i’m almost worried it has *too* good of sillage and my scent-sensitive and outspoken coworker is going to say something about it (said coworker has previously freaked out when another coworker changed their deodorant) and i’ll have to wash some of it off in the bathroom. but an hour in it’s leaving less of a trail (or i’ve gone somewhat noseblind to it, lol.)

unrelated, but does anyone have opinions on what type of fragrance to wear on a first date? sweet and fruit based? musky and sexy? green and neutral? i have no idea how this guy tonight feels about perfumes so don’t want to put on anything too strong.

It's a people pleaser for sure and not the sort of thing that makes a statement, but I'd definitely wear it when I just wanted to smell good. A lot floral, a little citrus, a tiny bit of spice (ginger? it's barely noticeable but I think it's there) backed by a vanilla that's slightly but not too foodie smelling. Just pretty, perfect for spring/summer I think.
