 Boce Viva is an ode to Valentino's femininity, meant to be personal and intimate, drawing a parallel between the sound of your voice and the scent of your fragrance. I think that's really beautiful but it tells me that you might have to be pretty close to somebody to pick up the fragrance. It makes perfect sense why they chose Lady Gaga to be the face of the campaign since she has such an incredible voice and in the campaign photos she looks beautiful, very soft, almost angelic but strong at the same time. She's wearing that bold red which of course matches the exterior packaging of the fragrance

 You do have to be pretty close. That's maybe my one fear of this fragrance is that it doesn't have the strength that I'm used to. This side does. It smells very strong initially

 He has very strong thoughts one way or the other. I think the best way is to just wear the fragrance. Don't ask and just see if he says something. I feel like that's when I get the most honest opinion, so I'll have to put that to the test later on this evening when we meet on the couch

 All I know is I really love it. I would highly recommend. Definitely try a sample. Fragrance is funny like that

Can’t say I didn’t like this perfume. It just smells like a generic women’s perfume. It doesn’t smell bad by any means but it doesn’t stand out either.

I mean some people wouldn't admit they actually like Sauvage just cause it is very popular. For me that would be Toy Boy. I mean, I like it (don't love it though). But that bottle is so stupid:) Will probably never get a bottle, but must say it is not bad.

What fragrance are you kinda ashamed to admit that you love?

.it is a well balanced fragrance. The notes evolve throughout the day, giving pleasant fragrance. Alien was my goto for years, but needed a switch, and after trying several high end perfumes, fell in love with Valentino Original

The perfumes that were a hard no for me were “Lancome Idole”, which immediately gave me a headache and felt stuffy and “Valentino Voce viva”. I’ve been reading reviews on here about BPAL and Fantome, but am a bit hesitant to try them since I also read they can be quite strong. Some I’m interested in trying are:.

Perfume I am not fond of: Valentino voce viva (headache); Ariana grande cloud (smelled like plastic- headache); Carolina Herrera GG (heavy and headache inducing); jo malone peony and blush suede (nauseated). Chanel coco noir (very mature smell on my skin). Prefer something readily available at macys/dillards/Nordstrom/Neiman Marcus.

Need help choosing what to try, where to start, or where to buy? Looking for something similar to a  discontinued or hard to find fragrance? Need to identify a perfume but don't remember the name? Your knowledgeable r/fragrance buds can help.

Recommend Me a Fragrance (Posts every 3 Days)

I like my perfume to be long lasting and this is not. It just stays for 2/3 hrs. There are several other good long lasting with unique fragrances in market. This is trash for me

Valentino Voce Viva sample - My friend wore this the other day and it smells so familiar to me and was driving me crazy trying to determine what it reminded me of so last night I wore my sample and immediately I realized it reminds me of Paco Rabanne Olympea Intense. At least for the first hour. Wore it again today to see how I like it for day time wear. It smells good for sure, right up my alley
