I had to go with red but you can obviously do anything you’d like. It also helps to get those numbers a little more visible. After you crayon it in you just wipe off the excess with a paper towel. Be careful though, once you know this trick you will be looking for ANYTHING with groves that can potentially be filled in. Kergig, water bottles, charges, anything… lol

Victorinox Swiss Tool Upgrades

  This and one other tool are all I need in a pinch! Solid as a tank and shiny as a newborn star! I could even use the Spirit as a signal mirror if I had to!  But seriously. It is a very, very good tool. Last weekend I even used it to frame a door and saw down bits of wood. The pliers were all that was required to pull troublesome nails and the other tools assisted with timely beer delivery helpful stabby motions when frustration took over

 Its so stiff that it takes time and attention when you want to use the blade. Closing the handles with the knife out is seriously not easy.

Great quality multi-tool w/one drawback...

 The leather pouch is pretty durable. The tool is pretty heavy, but feels like it's worth the $90 I paid for it. I wear the thing on my hip every day, though, and hardly feel it. It's got a small catch for each tool so you can open it only 60%ish, so if you need, say, a screwdriver at an angle, you've got some stability - a nice touch

 I love that it has a full Phillips head on it instead of one of those dumb flat-ish ones (I'm looking at you, Gerber), and that you can access the tools without having to open up the pliers. There are individual Springs for each tool, rather than one spring for each handle. The leather pouch is pretty durable. The tool is pretty heavy, but feels like it's worth the $90 I paid for it

After carrying the Swisstool for almost 4 years, I got myself a Leatherman Wave. Love the blades.
