Do that today I love to let the Vitamix run for a little while I think it's really important to let your smoothies blend for at least a minute for optimum nutrient extraction

 That is a ton of money over $ 600 from Flender is a ton of money. But if this blender lasts me even seven years, that's under $ 100 a year and this blender is made to last for way more than seven years. This blender, I believe, can last so long. The ascent series not as capable as predecessors?

 I purchased the smaller bowls and the smoothie bowl, but it takes me about ten tries to get the blender to accept either one of these containers if I don’t just give up and use the standard large container it come with, but which is really too large for some tasks. These add-ons came with no instructions and after researching user experiences I found out the arrows on the bowl and base must line up, but even this does not guarantee that the container will be recognized (and you can’t blend anything if its not recognized). As an engineer I think this functionality or lack there of requires additional testing and refining before it should be sold. So vitamixes are great, but given the price range I would recommend another model

Great power but auto-detection does not work

Simple, not legacy, but not the newest like, and simple machine. I just bought the a3500. However, I bought it because we had like 300 Amazon gift cards from our wedding, 20% off from our Amazon wedding registry bonus, and some points from my Amazon CC. Im warey of the tech inside it going bad or malfunctioning some wha, but it has a 10 year warranty, I bought it off Amazon, and vitamix seems to have top notch support

I am 100% going to buy my 1st Vitamix blender but I don't know where to start. There is a big price difference between models and I don't know what is better and why.  Feel free to post suggestions!

I was wondering If I buy the higher-end blender would I have to replace it ever? I don't mind paying 500-600 if that means I never have to buy another blender again. (i have bought far too many cheap blenders)

I understand forever is sorta a big ask but would 15+ years be feasible with moderate to light use? IF not would I be better off buying a low-end Vitamix blender and replacing it?

About the company: What other people said + feels like they meet customer expectations, my own experience (with my Vitamix A3500) was:. My vitamin broke/melted the gear nut on the bottom of the can. I wrote the company I bought the blender from. They required some pictures of the problem, why I send some pictures

I've seen plenty of positive reviews but also a bunch of negative ones, including one that said that the quality of this blender model seems to have actually decreased over the years, possibly due to using cheaper parts, etc.

Is the Vitamix 5200 still worth it?

 The 20oz Cup blending is perfect. The presets are very useful. The Bluetooth connection with the vitamix app is a good bonus that I don't use. The black (graphite) is the best looking The main thing is that you cannot get any blender as good-looking and functional as the a3500
