 It is maybe a third of the length it normally is when using a setting .5mm shorter. This isn't the end of the world though, I could use a different guard to keep it longer. The real downfall of this trimmer is that it constantly wanted to pull my hairs

I thought maybe I was just trimming too much at once so I tried just cutting it down a little at a time, but it still pulled.  Overall, I gave this 3 stars because the only real downfall was the hair pulling

 My old trimmer used to start snagging my hair as the battery started to die out run very slowly, this one is a machine compared to that. Not to mention it is also waterproof so cleaning it is a breeze with a quick rinse and dry. The only cons I have are that the trimmer is pretty heavy compared to my old ones, and it doesn't have a lock button which would make me paranoid if I was traveling so I would have to bring a charger in case the button was accidentally pressed and the trimmer died out on me. Lastly, I still feel it is on the pricier side compared to similar trimmers

 It comes with plenty of comb guides to get just the right cut. It’s a little bulky, but its weight offsets that. Grab one and try it! I am Wahl customer for life. I forgot to mention their customer support is excellent! Happy trimming!
