 you tip your head. So I've used the number three clipper all around the bottom part of his head and now I'm going to work on blending in the middle afterwards. When I'm done with the Clippers I'm going to I'm going to take this attachment off and I'm going to just clean up around here a little bit. I can actually quickly show you and I'll just clean up all around

 It went through very smoothly through his hair and then when you're done, you would just have to pick up your attachments, put them in the handy carrying case along with your scissors in your cape and your Clipper and you're ready to cut hair again. So I haven't cut hair for a long time I Definitely haven't cut an eight-year-olds hair for a long time. I Think I did a pretty good job.   I do like the metal clip latch too, in part why I picked this. I liked the other models "template" type Combs, but I figured I could angle this and not rely on an angled around the ear comb shape, -- maybe gimmicky? I'd have tried it if there, but not divert my choice for a "pro" ? and "Elite" model ?  The little plastic sheet I can't tell what it's for, me, or the person cutting? It's not the traditional drape to keep the head cut, that person "clean", -- so left that in it's cheap baggy.  So, I just stepped onto a Bed Sheet laid out on the floor, wore Gym Shorts and went to work in front of the Bathroom Mirror and used a like 8-10 inch hand held mirror.  If one takes their time and used progressive Comb lengths, they'll get as good as I get in a $20 cut shed in town when not really paying attention anyway or whatever their challenges are

  So, I just stepped onto a Bed Sheet laid out on the floor, wore Gym Shorts and went to work in front of the Bathroom Mirror and used a like 8-10 inch hand held mirror.  Maybe one NOT in a case would be better packaged for todays delivery systems?  So, with that very sour start and slowly working up to home cuts for self, -- first doing Scissors, straight blade and "thinning" going very well, -- figured try this so can get a good "cut" off the head with some taper, blending with a curved stroke. Well, that worked as planned.  Also, I was able to get a nice neck line by simple feel, not "guard", or guide. For me, if progressive enough and careful and "LISTEN" to when it starts to cut, it cut well to the natural hair line and cleaning up all the fluffy fine hair undergrowth I get when cut the heavy hair away

 That's if you are not looking to get fancy with your haircut and if you are on a budget. for example is student. I Also think that if you are traveling for a long time, this will work very well even though nowadays it may be a bit bulky. but if you have the space for it because you won't always need all the accessories

WAHL ELITE PRO (APRIL 2020) MUST SEE

 The angle of approach for aligning the guides and clippers is also slightly off center compared to my 3 previous brands. If cutting one's own hair it takes more time to get used to in order to get an even cut. Holding the razor "straight" or "perpendicular" doesn't allow the guide to make proper contact. Finally, this order comes with a "free gift" certificate if you fill out a survey

 This razor vibrates FAR more than any other brand I've used. In fact, after a couple minutes of use, one of my hands had gone numb.  We have a barber that use the clippers every day he says he buys the seniors and has had all the models (5000 and v9000) and they last 3 to 4 years and he uses them every day. As soon as I received the clippers, I turned them over to view the “bottom plate”, and my first reaction was “this is a used clipper!” I instantly recalled another post stating they had returned their order because it was a used clipper! I burst out laughing! I have worked with steel; stainless steel, and other metals most of my life, and I know that regular steel and stainless in the natural state may have that old, “used” look. So Wahl, I would respectfully suggest that you “buff the plate” so that it would be in keeping with the great looking clipper that it is – it truly detracts, cheapens, the overall appearance of a great looking clipper! I have owned several other brands of clippers over the years, but this was my first try with WAHL; so I read the instructions, oiled the clipper as instructed, turned it on and let it run a bit, wiped away excess oil, and popped on a #2 spacer, and began trimming my beard. It was a bit noisy, but it was quieter than the others I have owned. Not once, since I have been using the clippers, have they snagged a hair (we all know that painful feeling), and I was amazed as to how “smooth” my beard looked after I had completed trimming

 I have since placed the clippers, spacer, oil, brush, etc., in an old faux-leather clipper case that I have, and it works perfectly. I also use a short handle, 1-1/2 “ soft hair cleaning brush from a previous clipper set. I am one happy man! I have used the clippers for several months now; I am very, very satisfied, and yes, I eagerly recommend the clippers to my friends

 Id like a slightly longer powder chord by 5 feet 5. I wish it had the transitioning self cut angled attachments 6. The comb is not good imo.  You still need a T blade clipper, I like a hair fluffy removing brush to hang, and a thin hair pick brush
