Walther PDP

So, anyway, the Walther PDP standing for Performance Duty Pistol in case you didn't know. So, that's kind of my take on it.

For a gun that comes with these features this trigger and the ability to mount an optic $600 is a real steal in my opinion.

Triggers great. Like I said, the components are quality. Walther has built a reputation for just putting out good guns

Let us know your thoughts on the Walther PDP, if you've tried one, if you own one, what your thoughts are so far.

I really liked Walther PDP. Choosing between it and g34.5 for my proper range and practice gun.

I'm not sure what the Canik is going for right now but if you have the money to do so I highly recommend the Walther PDP 4" Compact for concealed carry. The PDP is cut to use aftermarket Glock sights, the slide is cut for a red dot sight from factory, and they have arguably the best trigger out of the box for a striker fired pistol. Also, it comes in a factory hard-sided case with 3 adjustable backstraps, 2 magazines, speed loader, and various tools.

The Canik was nice, absolutely loved the trigger, though if I were to want to go that route I'd probably go with a Walther PDP. No matter which one I was working with, I was very accurate with all of them. All of my instructors have commented on how my fundamentals are solid and have starting working on more drills and speed work. My reasons for wanting a handgun is for CCW and home defense purposes.

Don't buy one when there is a plethora or similarly priced and equally effective pistols on the market. The S&W M&P, the CZ P10, the (LITERALLY ANY GLOCK), Walther PDP, FN 509, etc.
