Warehouse Lot 800XX Standard Fit Denim

Got these new Warehouse 800xx from Self Edge about a week ago and I'm loving them. I think this is just about the best fit I've worn, and the denim is excellent, nice and dark and crunchy. Feels like an amplified version of 50s Levis-style denim. The details are all the stuff you expect on a classic-style pair of jeans.

Thus, I started my new denim search. Thankfully I live in Los Angeles where there are plenty of great stores that offer amazing denim: Mister Freedom, American Rag, and General Quarters just to name a few, but I decided to hit up Self Edge in order to try on a wider array of cuts and brands. After trying on a few Sugarcanes, I tried on these Warehouse 800xx’s and they fit perfectly: the waist was a higher rise than I was used to, but not too high; the width of the lower leg was wide enough for my boots (which I brought with me) to move freely, but not too wide; the surface was just neppy enough for what I was looking for, and, even better, in the process of making these specially for Self Edge, they were already pre-rinsed (not washed) to get the initial shrinkage out of the way - calming my nerves about them shrinking so much that my boot would no longer fit, possibly putting me back at square one. Anyway, super excited to see how these bad boys (alongside my also newly acquired trucker wallet) age over time.
