 They are 3 times the price but I have friends that have been using them on rivers for over 10 years and they still are in great condition. I know that the military uses these extensively and that they pass the Navy's test for dryness. My photographer buddy trust these bags even over pelican boxes for his expensive camera stuff. I will never buy another brand dry bag and I am slowly replacing my entire supply of dry bags

they are not and they usually say in the fine print that they are not submersible

 I've found that the combo of two Colorado Watershed bags is the perfect size to hold all of my personal gear for 1-3 week long river trips. I thought about getting the Mississippi size bag, but I'm glad I went with 2 Colorado sized bags instead because (1) easier to carry, and (2) easier to fit in rafts and vehicles.

Bought this waterproof duffel for my boyfriend’s canoe/camping trips and he adores it already. It fit his single tent, hammock, dry bag full of clothes, camping chair, sleeping bag, and large tarp with plenty of room to spare. Incredible waterproof duffel

 They were in aircraft and slung around and they held up really well. I use them on my roof rack for hunting trips, which kept all my gear dry and equally important kept the dust out on dirt roads. Most intellegent people have moved from the north face type duffel to waterproof duffels because getting your gear wet sucks. I live in Australia so I paid $250 each for two of these and they where still worth it

You get what you pay for and these bags are the best. I have used them on an expedition to New Guinea where it rains torrentially. They were in aircraft and slung around and they held up really well. These bags are awesome, practically indestructible, worth every penny, but Amazon has the sizes wrong! Colorado is 75.5 L, the Mississippi is 111 L (Amazon matrix shows them at 105.5 and 138 respectively.) Don't want others to make a sizing mistake
