I’m the market to up grade my pitboss Austin xl that has rusted to hell. I love everything about the recteq from what I’ve read and Watched. The only thing that I don’t like is that there is no direct flame option. Anyone see a modification for this?

The new camp chefs have some nice features like the new pid, quick clean fire pot, and the direct flame. 

I prefer the look and all the positive reviews from recteq but I’m so used to the direct flame grilling for steaks and chicken. 

Help me decide!
