 So what I'm going to do is I'm going to measure the different lofts of each of these bags, provide you four different measurements, and that way you can better evaluate which bag you're going to need. Now, where is it here? My rulers I'll grab my rulers in a moment, but I do have to be careful because the microfiber on these two bags that this is microfiber - and this is extreme light fabric - you do have to be careful. These bags aren't invincible. The gore winds stop on the expedition series is much tougher than the microfiber and then microfiber is still tougher than the extreme light fabrics

 It has a velcro linkage system. It'S just a light-duty one, because this isn't too extreme, but what we'll do as we'll simply attach the velcro like thus, and that way you can actually use in the neck baffling system on this sleeping bag, and it's not there. Where are you there? We go. So you has a bungee cord as the neck baffle on this sleeping bag, so you can warm things up and then draw this in and really close the sleeping bag around your head and that way you can stay much warmer and that's just a light-duty one

 But in trade you get a lot of other options as well, so it just depends on. If you want flexibility in adjusting the temperature or you going extreme - and you just want it to be plain - warm if you're going hardcore, eventually you're going to end up with a Puma and I'm going to do a separate video on just the Puma vs bison differences. But hopefully you can see the difference here in the sleeping bag, the bags the loft and the differential use for them make sure I've got that. Thank you very much for watching

 No all of these sleeping bags are designed for six-foot-six. So that's me: I'm six feet I like to have some extra room, so the loft on this sleeping bag is my non scientific measurement. That'S about four and a half inches on the mega light on the antelope. The Loft is about six and a half inches so substantially more

Not necessarily UL, but I love my Western Mountaineering Ultralite Bag. Don’t notice the extra weight but have had many many nights where I was glad to cinch it down and drift off into a land of lofty goodness! Is still the most money I’ve spent on any one piece of hiking gear but have spent hundreds of nights in it and don’t see a time in my future without it. The build quality is second to none!

Trying to find things to be a more sustainable ultralight hiker.

For me it’s a blackroll ball that weighs nothing and I always take it on my hikes to massage my feet and shoulders after a long day on the trail. It’s basically indestructible.

What is your item or product that you’ll happily buy again because it lasts long and makes you enjoy the trail more?

Oh, another thing I'll say is that I don't think the ultralite fits me that well. I'm 5'7" and I have the 6' bag. Sure that's nice when it's cold and I can stuff things down there but I feel like in general, I struggle to heat up the bag and I'm suspicious of the dead space. Regarding the burrow sizing, I'm right in between sizing and I think I'm gonna go for the short for that reason
