 The reason I mention that is that I need a really warm bag because the cold weather affects my Parkinson's. But for anybody else, this is one of the best sleeping bags that you can buy. It is the Western Mountaineering VersaLite. And if you would, like and comment on my video and subscribe to my channel

 And that seals around your, this area, I'm not choking you, but it snugs up around you so that the air doesn't move in and out of the bag easily and cool you down. And also there's a Velcro connection. Alright, Velcro. So that you can Velcro that around when you get in the bag and then tighten that cord up

 Western Mountaineering bags have amazing construction. They put Dacron tape on the zipper so it doesn't snag. Which I love because snag zippers drive me crazy. It has a down collar on it

 It's feather light. It insulates to the nth degree. The zipper probably makes me more happy than anything. Of course, being warm is a big deal

I am a very cold sleeper. In a  Sonic zero in upper 20's I wear a puffy w/hood, baselayer, and fleece pants/socks. I tried the EE Enigma but can't get used to having my head out of the quilt.  Am going to try the FF Murre but it is over 2 # 10 oz which is heavier than my Zpaks Duplex. Most of my trips are on AT but one planned for Sierra Rockies next summer.

Compare that to other similar mummy bags and many won’t come close. As well, 34 oz is very light for a bag that can be pushed to 10 degrees or less
