WDT730PAHZ_review Whirlpool WDT730PAHZ Built-In Undercounter Dishwasher Review

I bought this to replace a 7 year old (they don't make them like they used to!) dishwasher that went out. It does wash pretty well but it is pretty darn loud for a new dishwasher, and the drying cycle leaves much to be desired. I have tried every setting that it has, hoping to find one that dries well. No luck

Any tiny little cupped area, like the bottom side of a mug for example, will retain as much water as it can hold

Washes well...drying is mediocre, at best.

Whirlpool WDT730PAHZ - Immediately begins spraying when the cycle is started but quits at some point, never rinsing the dishes.  The display always indicates it's running and the stage (wash/rinse/dry) but it's usually not doing anything.  Seems to me like the cycles after the initial wash never even happen, when I open the door there isn't even any water in the bottom of the dishwasher.

  We were hoping that it would get some of the tough food off of the dishes but you have to rinse them pretty well before putting them into the washer. Also you have to use a rinse agent every time you do a load or the dishes are sopping wet. We were hoping that because the dishwasher had the dry cycle it would get the dishes dry but it does not.  The pros are that it was budget friendly, looks great, and is quiet

Installers would call me saying they would be here in an hour then never show up. Price good but I’m not sure it was worth the stress, frustration and effort I experienced

Hassle getting installed

Good dishwasher.  Good product, cleans well and leaves dishes relatively dry (except things with recessed surface.  The delivery service is sketchy.  Their delivery date did not match that of what was posted on Costco website
