 I know this is a budget blower, but I find the understated aesthetics of the Redmi Note 10 Pro much more appealing. The X3 Pro's two-tone finish and slightly obnoxious branding definitely ain't doing anything at all for me, especially as that shiny central strip is a total grease magnet. You can grab the POCO X3 Pro in three different colours, this blue effort, otherwise also black or bronze, and I've got to say that darker effort definitely looks a bit better than this one. But the good thing is that the POCO X3 Pro is suitably durable despite being made of polycarbonate, no scratches or scuffs to speak of so far, and if you are paranoid, you do at least get a condom case bundled in the box there to help keep it extra protected

 Indoor snaps also come out well if your subject is perfectly still, while the night mode helps to brighten up a dimly lit scene, and the AI mode can swap between features to give you the best possible shot, although at times this does also really piddle about with the colour reproduction and gives you an artificial looking image. The addition of a 2MP depth sensor helps to produce some stunning portrait shots, adding in a tweakable bokeh effect in the background. And you've also got an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, which again is respectably efficient for an affordable blower. The colour reproduction isn't quite as natural, and you will see some distortion at times, but it does the job when needed

I've been testing the camera tech, gaming performance, battery life and Xiaomi's MiUI 12 features, using the Poco X3 Pro as my full-time phone this past week. While the design here still sucks, those specs are stronger than ever. This mighty budget blower is powered by the Snapdragon 860, which is ideal for gaming on PubG etc and can handle Genshin Impact if you scale down the settings. That camera tech is good for the price too, as the Poco X3 Pro captures good looking photos in most conditions.

It's an IPS screen rather than OLED however, so if that bothers you, maybe check out Xiaomi's Redmi Note 10 Pro instead. That's still one of my favourite phones under £300 from 2021.

If a big battery is what you want, go for the Moto G Power. It's a newer phone that is plenty fast for what you want to do, but with a battery that can last 2.5 days on a single charge

I would recommend looking into getting a second hand flagship phone! I recently bought a Samsung note 9 for £220! It works speedy and the battery is very good too! Went from the iPhone 11 (too expensive poor quality with everything)  the specs for the Samsung is so much better, hope this helps!

I think it's better to get an older flagship on sale. My brother got a samsung s10 on sale for CAD $450. I also don't recommend the A-series that much. One of my family members has a samsung A70 and it's laggy, buy that may not be common idk.

Of I were you I would definitely go for the Mi note 10 Lite. I don't have it but my girlfriend does and it's a hell of a phone. She's super happy with it, the camera is insane and the battery life is very good.

As much as possible, I'd like an AMOLED display. In terms of design, I'm not a fan of the dewdrop notch but it's not a big deal, really.

So for your needs and budget I would say get the Oneplus Nord CE, it does have a headphone jack (earphone port)  and it's a 2021 release in your budget. The software one OnePlus devices are clean. On the Nord you get a mediatek chip which is inferior to the usual qualcomm snapdragon but it can handle day to day tasks. I would say that the camera is pretty decent for its price. But for just basic day to day usage I think that this phone is the best for you in my opinion and in you budget.   


The Nord 2 is great and in your budget (its better), but no headphone jack  


The N10 and N100 are thrash idk why OnePlus launched them ;-;  


The Samsung A52s meets your requirements, except that its a Samsung (P.S it has a headphone Jack!)  


Poco phones I'd say look great on the outside, like small price but lot of stuff, but I would say long term spending an extra 100 pounds is worth it for the other phones I have mentioned above.

The mi 11 lite is really good for its price (just saw that its in sale for 305 pounds) and it apparently comes with a usb-c to 3.5mm headphone jack converter so you can connect you earphone but you cant charge your phone simultaneously while doing so. Oh yh it has a good processor and decent camera.  


I think you should take your time and evaluate your needs so that you can come to a better decision, as you can see there are a lot of options but its upto to u what exactly do you prefer more, performance, camera, speakers, screen, software, external build, etc.

I had the same problem with a samsung note. Very annoying. I like Poco on paper- you could take a look at the POCO X3 Pro. I considered it when I was looking around due to the top tier processor for the price, but I was a bit turned off by camera reviews and I do not know what they were thinking with the design--poco basically sprawling the back.

Currently I own a Samsung phone.
It's a good phone, but, like one of my Samsung phones a few years ago, the charging port is playing up.  Samsung.. never again.

My last phone was a Huawei. 
In three and half years of owning this phone I had no problems with it. Nothing. The only reason I didn't have another one was the Google/Playstore debacle.

I was seriously looking at Xiaomi brand but they don't have a dedicated earphone port.
My music is important to me.
I am looking at another Chinese brand Poco.
But this is, to me, more of a gamers phone?

I just want a talk/text/internet/listening to music phone. Budget £300-£400 max

Poco X3 Pro is the one you are looking for, cheapest phone for 120hz and best performance, incredibly good 128gb of storage, i just got it last week and goddamn it is amazing

Hello, I am looking for a phone that has specific specifications but I don't know where to find exactly what I'm looking for, and also find it for a decent price.

I'm looking for a phone with:  


* 120hz screen that also looks good
* Very good camera but by no means does it have to be the best
* smooth edges of the screen on the side of the phone
* decently fast
* decently affordable (im thinking like 300 - 600)
* usb-c charging (i have something else right now and its annoying as hell)

if any of you have recommendations or something like this I'd love to know.
