 So sound is far beyond what I expected, especially from a $60 pair of earbuds with active noise canceling because you know that just the components cost quite a lot of money, especially now in 2021. I actually was able to replicate that achievement and end it with 6 hours and 4 minutes of listening at 50% volume. More remarkable is that with ANC on I managed to get around 4 hours. These are great achievements and what is absolutely stunning is the fact that by charging for just 10 minutes you will restore almost half of the battery capacity which converts into close to 3 hours of playback time

Hey, welcome back, Michael here, Tech For All, and what we do here is to inspect cool tech and here's something really cool and fresh for you. This is the latest from Redmi called Buds 3 Pro and I'm going to take out one of those so that you can see how small and nicely looking they are

 Sound quality, price, comfort, features, probably smartphone application and maybe a few other features and probably these are going to be a different priority for each and every one of you and I guess you're going to hear a lot of good things about them and see a lot of ads. The first thing we do here is thoroughly inspect tech, so it's important for us to look into both the advantages but also the drawbacks and we're going to cut all these marketing tricks and dive into what really matters about the Redmi Buds 3 Pro. In terms of competition, right now there aren't too many models that offer effective ANC, meaning active noise cancelling, together with bearable price, especially when it comes to brands that you can easily recognize. So this is quite an achievement and I think Redmi have just released something that could push earbud development even further

 There's an app for the Chinese region which is not translated in English. For current MIUI devices, there already are quite many customizations available, but a standalone app for other phone models is right now missing. Despite these minor shortcomings, I do believe this is probably the best buy of the year, especially if you're looking for great sound, effective noise cancelling at a budget of around $60. I don't think there's something that can beat this price and the feature pack right now

I expected something better!!

 The front of the case is really simple, you get a button to check the battery percentage of the case. I guess white means you have battery and red means you're running low and flipping it to the back, you see a nice Redmi branding there with a very nice font, very nice colour choice, really nice and classy overall. And a testament to how Redmi is going up market is that they even framed the USB port with some chrome bits here, giving it a super premium look and it's really been a while since I've seen such attention to details in a budget earbuds. And not only that, Redmi also throws in wireless charging with this case so pop it onto any Qi certified wireless charger and it'll slowly charge the earbuds up

 And if you notice, there's a lot of okay and sufficient on these earbuds and they're not your absolutely amazing high resolution sounding earbuds but they are good for its price and what they are for. This is a test to see if the Redmi Buds 3 Pro is a good earbuds for making phone calls. So this is me speaking in a relatively quiet environment and this is the call quality that you can expect. So what I'm gonna do now is to turn on a simulated backup noise so you can hear a difference

 So these earbuds are sent over to me by Xiaomi in their mystery box experience and today's earbuds, honestly, is one of the most polished budget earbuds I've held in my hands and I'm personally really excited to review these earbuds. And they currently retail for about 280 Malaysia Ringgit which is about 70 US, honestly not super expensive for an ANC earbuds but definitely swaying away from the budget perception that many have with Redmi products. So the Buds 3 Pro is unlike any Redmi product I've known and comes actually pretty hefty and solid and the case actually has some nice weight to it, giving it a super premium feel without it feeling too cheap

What is a cheap good quality phone that has long battery life even with a lot of downloaded podcasts and photos that is better than Iphone?

 The sound quality is good and the noise cancellation is excellent and efetive, but the earbud is so expansive for all resources that offers. I prefer the TOZO T-6, by a good price.

 I know I might be missing some earbuds that had multi-point before, but this is the first under $50 earbuds with the feature that I've ever reviewed. And for your info, the only next step is Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, which costs 170 bucks. But keeping it sweet and short, I love it. To set it up, you just open the lid, hold the button for three seconds, the LED will blink, which indicates pairing mode

 To be honest, I didn't really like this earbuds when I first got it, I know the controls will suck because it's Xiaomi, the transparency mode isn't that great, and there's no app support for anything not called Xiaomi or Redmi. But I kept on using it and I quickly realized that multi-point connection is just so convenient. And that's only one aspect of the earbuds, let me tell you everything about it so you'll know if this is the right purchase for you. And we're starting right now

Search Earbuds similar to Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro

These are great for the price if you forget the fact that Xiaomi-only devices are the only ones that can fully utilize the software updates and they've got connectivity issues with multipoint via dropoffs/lags. If you're connected to both a phone and computer, whenever you unlock your phone it pauses to think to see which device to use even if no audio is coming from said phone.  These were almost flagship killers but Redmi has got to allow all devices to get the updates and to make sure connectivity doesn't have issues like dropoffs and lags.

So close... But fatal flaws

 The earphone housing has an IPX4 waterproof rating which means they are not afraid of some drops of rain or sweat. Number 5. Comfortability. The Buds 3 Pro fit I can say it extremely well and it's mainly because of 3 reasons

 Number 2. No audio lag. There is barely any latency thanks to the aptX codec on supported devices. Even for gaming the delay is acceptable

 Simultaneous connections. The Buds 3 Pro also supports simultaneous connection to two devices which is super handy. It is convenient because the headset switches between two audio sources quite quickly with very minimal latency and there's no need to adjust or reconnect anything at all. Number 8

 The magnets have just the right pull and the hinge is also sturdy enough but be prepared to have a hard time fitting this thick case in your tight jeans pocket. On top of that it often looks like there's something big and hard over there too. If you know what I mean. Now off to the fun part because I have not one but two Redmi Buds 3 Pro and this one is brand new and I can give it away to you thanks to Xiaomi Netherlands
