 Yeah, it's all sewn together on the back. Good inch of sewing there to a metal buckle that holds it in place right there. Nice, nice solid construction. You have a rubber gasket going all the way around

 For a relatively inexpensive cooler, you get a badass product. You can see you've got a bottle opener on either side here. Your handle is connected by these two. Nice solid metal connection there

Difficult Latches

 It's about 3x the weight of a similar size Coleman cooler. The weight really limits it utility -- it's comparable to putting 3 gallons of milk in the Coleman before you start loading any other food. Takes a pretty burly guy to handle it empty -- when loaded up, definitely two strong folx to lift or carry it. Probably gift it to my serious camper/hunter relatives

No doubt this will keep stuff cold -- well constructed, gasket on lid, no seams. BUT: this cooler is HEAVY!! I did not notice the weight when I ordered it. I like this cooler quite a bit. Seems very sturdy. Haven't thrown it out of a pick-up at 60 mph or anything, but it's built very well. For my purposes, the functional equivalent of the yeti at a lower price

Should be 2.5 stars...Nice cooler but mine delaminated/warped on inside

  Although my cooler does not preserve ice for 5 days like others mentioned, it does better than the standard brands we grew up using. I love the funky color, the lid latching design and the handles. A friend has an Orca that she paid almost double the cost of this cooler and it doesn’t perform any better and the Orca lid is a real bugger to latch and would be painful if you have tendinitis, carpal tunnel or arthritis.
