 so huge thanks to those guys. let's jump in and check it out. All right, let's highlight some specs before we plug it in and listen to some tones. As usual, link to the guitar in full specs down in the video description below

 And of course they're Grovers so they're gonna last, so that's fantastic. We've also got a Graphtec tusk nut and string trees. Again, nice high end nut and string trees, something you won't find on that Player series. so lots of high-end specs on the headstock

 Now moving on to the body. We've got an older body with of course that flame maple veneer. the 612. The Pacifica 612 also comes with like solid and kind of metallic colors, but the flame maple is super nice so I like this one

 All the kinks have been worked out and this is one of the few guitars where you know I just had to stretch the strings and it held tune most of the times when you get a new guitar you kind of need to wear all the components together before it'll really, you know, hold tuned. the knot, the tuners, the saddles, the trim posts, all that stuff that has movable parts just kind of has to get used and worn in before. You know a guitar will really really hold tuned for you. but this one just seemed to work right away, which is great

I Had No Idea This Guitar Would Be So Good!! - Yamaha Pacifica 612

I only started learning ~3 months ago so I've been playing on a Yamaha Pacifica 112V. Been practising daily and loving it, so decided to treat myself to a bit of an upgrade! So far, I love it - it sounds much cleaner and clearer.

Defective cable and fret

 Being that they're inexpensive you know it's not as huge a loss as it would be if you were going to lose a vintage guitar or something like that. Most people wouldn't be taking that to a pub cover band gig but you get my point. They're inexpensive. In Australia at least these are way more affordable than the Squire Classic V and I gotta tell you I think they play just as well

 Let me know in the comments what they're like in your part of the world price wise but these are highly underrated guitars, good pickups, all that kind of stuff. I'll give you my thoughts at the end. If you want to find out more about it links will be in the description below. Let's do it

 Lots of snap on the top end. Over to middle and bridge now. Let's give this a shot and over to bridge which is the humbucker. And back to neck for a comparison

 Already I know this sounds pretty great so we're going to start on the bridge pickup. Here we go. Now I recently just shot a video of a Squier Classic V 50-60 Stratocaster and this plays easily as well. The fret edges feel great and I love that tone

Yamaha Pacifica 112 Electric Guitar Review - The Best Budget Guitar?

Yamaha sounds better, but is more expensive. My rec: Buy used and get a THRii 10, Yamaha Pacifica HSS (Humbucker in the bridge will make your guitar much more versatile, which is important since it'll likely be your only electric for a while), basic looper pedal (Ditto or RC1).

Is this combo good enough? It came out to a little less than $500, which is my budget. I'm mainly going to be playing at home.

[QUESTION] Is a Boss Katana 100 100W and Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster a good setup for a $500 budget for playing at home?

 In the end, with a good amp, this guitar can pl ay with the much more expensive guitars.

 Frankly, if you plug this guitar into a Roland Jazz Chorus, it is a whole different guitar. I use Yamaha amps for my surround sound systems. Combined with Elac speakers, they are fantastic, so I guess I expected more from the amp. My guess is that this just some made in china junk amp that they nailed the Yamaha name on

 Oddly, when I do this, the higher notes are “out of tune” when compared to an electronic tuner. I don’t understand this..

Great guitar but only a fair amp

 On the 612 Pacifica you get rosewood and that's it. So there is no maple option now on the back of the neck. On the 612, you have a gloss neck and on the player series, you have a satin neck, which is really nice. so you kind of get satin on the back and a little glossier on the front

 On the Pacifica you get locking grover tuners, so that's one huge point for Pacifica. You get locking tuners on this guitar from Grover on the Fender regular Fenders, so that's a huge upgrade for the Pacifica. You also get a graphtec nut on the Fender. It's a synthetic bone, which is a fancy way of saying plastic

 Now when we talk about the player series, well, it's a bit of an upcharge minimum I've seen them is 750 us dollars, up to 800. and if you want the translucent one, well, you gotta kick in another 30 bucks. So in terms of value, well, the Yamaha wins this one easily. It's a much much better value and you get more for your money

Summary: The kit is a good value for money specially for begginers. All the components are basic but will do the trick at least for a while, after a few years you may want to upgrade. One exception the cable, which is unusable.  This is a great starter kit for learning to play the guitar

 The amplifier... is adequate for a starter kit, it will work for you to play by yourself at home, if you want to play with friends it might be a little too small, and you will want to get a new one bigger and better

 The third guitar is the Yamaha 311 and this guitar is a really nice one. I've seen this guitar played by many guitar players and actually Spoiler Alert. This guitar has a great great value for money. We have a number and a P90 on the neck position that gives this guitar more character

 And now let's proceed with the unboxing. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Okay, the first guitar of today is the Yamaha Pacifica Zero 1 12. and this is the entry-level guitar and actually it's quite nice. The first thing that, uh, actually surprised me a lot is the fingerboard is in rosewood, and this is a thing that it's not really common in guitars in this price range

 I would like to have something that is really astounding. I don't know what to say, but really inspiring. That's what I'm searching for When I'm paying more money on a guitar. I don't want just to have guitar that is reliable

 It's kind of nice, not super flamed I have to say but still quite nice. I don't know if you can hear that, but this noise annoys me a little bit, you know. And it's not a big deal because when you're playing uh with your amplifier, that's not noticeable for sure. But if you're playing just, you know, maybe without and plugged into an amp and stuff like that and you do a bending, you can hear this and it's not the best thing for sure
