And your speakers are pretty demanding of current. If you want something with wifi streaming around the same price, look at the SVS Soundbase and the Yamaha WXA-50. Those use class D amplifiers so they can handle tricky speaker loads better than most lower grade class AB amps can.

I have DIY speakers that use a very similar (like, bordering on identical) driver setup to these Wharfedales and I love them to bits. Only downside with these is that they are pretty much as big as bookshelf speakers get, particularly in height. If you were planning to put them on an entertainment center next to your TV they might not fit, and sitting at a desk with them would be comical. That said, the best way to make sure you're happy with a 2.0 and don't buy a subwoofer later is to get big speakers :P.
