The Zeal Portal RLS strikes the middle ground in the world of snow goggles. While they're not the least expensive or the most advanced technology out there, they bring a lot to the table. The optical quality of this goggle's two included lenses is among the best in the test. Both are spherical in shape, and the bright light lens is photochromic. In our tests, it adapted well to fluctuating light conditions. Beyond that, you have a multitude of choices in lens colors, tints, and function, including polarized or prescription lenses &#40;at a higher price&#41;. These goggles secure the lens with a convenient magnetic system, similar to those found at much higher prices in the ski goggle market. These goggles have an extra sturdy frame that handled over a month of testing with no signs of the abuse we gave it. 
We only found a couple of drawbacks during testing. While the magnetic lens system is much easier than traditional goggles regarding lens swapping, these lenses aren't as easily swapped as other magnetic models. The second drawback mentioned by a couple of testers was the two relatively small black tabs at the bottom of the lenses. Some skiers noticed and commented, but they went unnoticed by others. Whether your skiing or boarding days take you to the resorts or deep into the backcountry, these goggles are our top recommendation for high-tech features at a reasonable price point.

 By the way, if you need prescription, we are sport rx. After all, you can get a prescription insert for this goggle. It works fantastically well, i wear it all the time, and so i can attest to how well it works, especially if you're used to those over the glass goggles that are just no good. Let'S talk about the zeal portal, great goggle, coming out of zeel, really like this guy, because it's a very straightforward classic, looking goggle with tons of lens real estate. As i call it there's a lot of lens to look through. You can see just about everything on the mountain and coming in at a solid medium fit

 So, even if it pops off those magnets, it's not going to pop off of the goggle so very easy to interchange. It does take a little bit of practice to swap them out quickly and efficiently. Just because it's a spherical lens, you have to kind of come in at an angle once you get the hang of it really simple lens to interchange, love that it's a top-tier goggle, so everything you can expect out of a top-tier goggle you're gon na get here. As well triple layer, foam super comfortable, moisture, wicking, an adjustable thick strap for helmet compatibility

Very comfortable and great peripheral visibility. But they fog up worse then my $50 old pair. And the rail lock does not work as smoothly as it sounds

 So it's a rail locking system, that's gon na keep the lens in place on the goggle and then gets finalized by locking with a magnetic system so by having that rail locking system. If you do happen to take a tumble, you know follow during your run. The lens is not going to fall off, also can be twisted. You can see that the lens isn't going to pop off some of the other magnets out there

They might have some problems holding on to it, but with this rail locking system it keeps it in place nice and secure and easy to change. So, and this is our brand new goggle for the years called portal we've launched in a bunch of different colors

 So these things were they fit like a glove. So if you need a new goggle and you're looking for every feature with no compromise check out the portal from zeal and if you want to see better while you're doing it get them from sport rx in your prescription, all right, we'll see you up.  Condition will change naturally with the light, and then also is polarized and polarized will protect your eyes from the glare that you get on the snow. The glare is much stronger when you're up in the mountains versus with John, you know, and the ocean, or you know, running or riding your bike and that kind of stuff. Of course, you're gon na also get some other features that you would expect from a really high quality high-end goggle, like this you're gon na get the triple foam you're going to get the adjustable, strap of course, helmet compatible. You got the silicone bead on the inside, so it isn't slide crazy, anti-fog properties

 I'm not sure I'd pay the $245 they are currently listed at. Other reviewers have mentioned fogging. I have only had a minor issue with this on a very cold day when breathing heavily into a face mask. Other than that I haven't had any fogging issues

Fogs and scratches easily

These are my favorite goggles probably ever. The optics are great, they haven’t fogged up on me and they don’t press down on my nostrils making it hard to breathe like others I’ve had. Frankly, once I put them on I completely forget I’m wearing them! Plus, I love that the company participated in 1% for the planet.

So comfy I forgot I had them on!

 Also, they have a poor customer service record...when you purchase a pair on sale, you cannot even return them for a different pair

Besides looking great, the ease of switching lenses and the anti fog qualities they have with good air ventilation, I would 100% suggest grabbing these if you’re looking for a perfect pair of goggles!
